Harbour Town Golf Links (par 71, 7,243 yards, POA Trivialis greens) in Hilton Head, South Carolina, is the home of the RBC Heritage and has been since the event’s inception in 1969. At this event a year ago, Justin Thomas (-11) won by defeating Andrew Novak in a playoff. As a Signature Event, the RBC Heritage features a $20 million purse. There will be 82 golfers competing and no cut this week.
The PGA DFS Breakdown offers data-driven analysis for each week’s slate, using the FantasyLabs Tools and metrics to highlight notable golfers.
I’ll be highlighting the best cash game/single-entry plays on the DraftKings main slate, but these players are often great options in any contest.
My analysis will frequently reference Strokes Gained, a set of proprietary metrics generated by the PGA TOUR using millions of data points to calculate how many shots, on average, it takes a player to get the ball in the hole from every distance and situation.
Strokes Gained is now available in the FantasyLabs PGA Models.
There are a variety of Strokes Gained-related metrics, but the six main categories you need to know include:
- Strokes Gained: Off-the-Tee (SG: Off-the-Tee)
- Strokes Gained: Approach (SG: Approach)
- Strokes Gained: Around-the-Green (SG: Around-the-Green)
- Strokes Gained: Putting (SG: Putting)
- Strokes Gained: Ball-Striking (SG: Ball-Striking), which is SG: Off-the-Tee + SG: Approach
- Strokes Gained: Tee-to-Green (SG: Tee-to-Green), which is SG: Ball-Striking + SG: Around-the-Green
Don’t forget to check out two key metrics in our models — Perfect% and SimLeverage. You can find an explainer on those metrics here.
The Cliffs Notes version is that you can use SimLeverage to quickly find leverage plays in tournaments, while Perfect% is great for finding the best price-considered plays for cash games.

PGA DFS Cash Game Thoughts
DraftKings $9,000 Range
Russell Henley ($9,600)
The $9,000 range is filled with strong options this week and beginning your lineup with a few players from this range is the best approach for cash games for the RBC Heritage. Russell Henley was in the mix for his first major win at the Masters last week, finishing T3, including a 6-under 66 and a 4-under 68 on the weekend. Henley led the world-class field in Strokes Gained: Approach, which is a great sign with a second-shot course like Harbour Town Golf Links up next. Over the last five years, four of the players to win at this venue have finished the event top-seven in Strokes Gained: Approach. Henley has finished T12 and T8 at Harbour Town the last two seasons – including a 7-under 64 in the first round last year – and he has finished inside the top 20 in six of his eight starts this season.
Patrick Cantlay ($9,200)
Cantlay has been tremendous at Harbour Town. In eight starts, he has finished inside the top-seven six times, including a runner-up in 2022 and third-place finishes in 2017, 2019, 2023, and 2024. Cantlay has six rounds of 66 or lower at Harbour Town, and he ranks third among this field in strokes gained per round at par 71. In convincing form, Cantlay looks ready to contend at Harbour Town again this week. Following a T7 finish at the Valspar Championship, Cantlay finished T13 at the Masters last week.
Jake Knapp ($9,100)
Despite only playing Augusta National once two years ago and finishing T55, Knapp went to the venue last week and finished T11. This week, the UCLA product is in a very similar situation. Knapp has only competed at Harbour Town once, and that was two years ago when he finished T62. As we saw last week, though, Knapp is a completely different player than he was two years ago, and he should thrive in his second attempt at Harbour Town. Knapp has been incredible this season, finishing T11 or better in seven of his eight starts. Knapp has shot under par in 23 of his 30 rounds, and he leads the entire PGA TOUR in Total Strokes Gained.

DraftKings $8,000 Range
Jordan Spieth ($8,800)
Spieth won the 2022 RBC Heritage, and he finished runner-up in 2023. Spieth has finished inside the top-18 in six of his nine starts at Harbour Town, and he finished T12 at the Masters last week. Spieth lit it up with his irons, ranking fifth in Strokes Gained: Approach for the major, marking the sixth straight event he has gained strokes on approach. Thanks to the strong ball striking, Spieth has finished inside the top 12 in four of his last six starts. The 13-time PGA TOUR winner looks ready to contend very soon, and this could be the week we see Spieth in the mix for a win again.
Chris Gotterup ($8,100)
Gotterup is tough to pass up at this price tag, regardless of it being his first start at Harbour Town. In his first attempt at Augusta National last week, Gotterup finished T24. With two wins, the 26-year-old is the only multiple-time winner on the PGA TOUR this season, and his game sets up well for Harbour Town. With this course presenting tiny greens, you not only need to be a great iron player but also crafty around the greens. Three of the last five winners at Harbour Town have finished the week top-10 in both Strokes Gained: Approach and Strokes Gained: Around-the-Green, and Gotterup ranks top-30 in both metrics this season.
Updated on 4/14/26

DraftKings $7,000 Range
Akshay Bhatia ($7,700)
Before missing the cut at the Masters, Akshay Bhatia was playing some of the best golf on the PGA TOUR, finishing T3, T6, T16, first, and T13 in his previous five starts. That win came at another Signature Event in the Arnold Palmer Invitational, and that T13 came at TPC Sawgrass, which, like Harbour Town, was designed by Pete Dye. Bhatia ranks sixth in Total Strokes Gained and eighth in Strokes Gained: Approach this season, and he should be in store for his best RBC Heritage finish to date. At Harbour Town the last two years, Bhatia has finished T18 and T42.
Sahith Theegala ($7,600)
Theegala has made 9 of 10 cuts with five top-25 finishes this season, two of which have come at Signature Events. The 28-year-old finished T10 at the Houston Open in his last start, which was three weeks ago, so he has had plenty of time to prepare for his return to Harbour Town. Theegala has finished inside the top-five in two of his four starts at the track, including a runner-up two years ago. Theegala has shot 68 or better in half of his rounds at Harbour Town, and he is underpriced for his upside at this course.
Alex Noren ($7,100)
Following a T30 finish at the Masters, Noren has finished T32 or better at six straight events. The Swedish professional has always been a great short game player, and this season has been no exception, with Noren ranking ninth in Strokes Gained: Around-the-Green. His expertise in this department has translated into three top-30 finishes in four starts at Harbour Town, and Noren ranks sixth among this field in strokes gained per round at the par 71.

DraftKings $6,000 and Below Range
Keegan Bradley ($6,900)
Bradley finished T18 at Harbour Town last season, and he is fresh off a T21 finish at the Masters. In his final round at Augusta National, Bradley caught fire with a 6-under 66, which was one stroke shy of the lowest score of the major. Looking to build off this, Bradley has top-20 upside at Harbour Town and is a great bargain at only $6,900.
