Raybon’s Seahawks-49ers Sunday Night Football DFS Strategy & Breakdown

Russell-Wilson

This is a breakdown of one-game DFS contests for the Sunday Night Football matchup featuring the San Francisco 49ers at Seattle Seahawks at 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC. Be sure to check our Models up until kickoff for up-to-date projections that reflect the latest breaking news.

Cash Game Strategy

Russell Wilson and Jimmy Garoppolo have both been volatile fantasy producers this season, but our DraftKings Showdown Models give Wilson the slight edge in Projected Plus/Minus and floor. With Chris Carson (hip), C.J. Prosise (arm), and Rashaad Penny (knee) all on the shelf, it will be on Wilson to put Seattle on his back as 3.5-point underdogs (view live odds). On the rare occasion the Seahawks have been home dogs in the Wilson era, he has been undervalued, posting a +5.88 Plus/Minus and 100% Consistency Rating in four home dog starts, according to our NFL Trends tool.

With Wilson in the Captain spot and Garoppolo in the first FLEX, you can also fit both members of Seattle’s new 1-2 punch at running back, Travis Homer and Marshawn Lynch. NFL insider Ian Rapoport reports that Lynch will see 10-15 carries. After handling five carries and drawing eight targets last week, Homer figures to again serve as a high-volume change of pace back. The optimal combo for the final two slots is Raheem Mostert, who has taken over as San Francisco’s lead runner, and Jacob Hollister, who is averaging 11.23 DraftKings points per game since becoming the starting tight end seven games ago. Hollister hung 8-62-1 on the 49ers on Nov. 11, and he will benefit from the absence of tight end blanketing safety Jaquiski Tartt (ribs, doubtful).

On FanDuel, Beast Mode ($9,500) is a better value than Homer ($11,000)and allows you to lock in Wilson, Garoppolo, Mostert, and Hollister.
