Survivor pools have taken a beating the last few weeks, which makes NFL Survivor Week 8 picks tougher than usual. NFL Week 8 brings 12 games to choose from. The slate starts tomorrow night, Thursday, Oct. 29, with Panthers at Packers at 8:15 p.m. ET on Prime Video.
The Bengals are the only double-digit favorite on the board, and every other game sits at 7.5 points or shorter. But in Survivor, the shortest price isn’t the only thing that matters. What it costs you to burn a team matters too.
Below are my NFL survivor Week 8 picks, ranked in the order I’d use them, along with the team I’m taking or you can check out the FantasyLabs’ NFL DFS tools for more information to help you make the most informed picks possible today, Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2026.

My Favorite NFL Survivor Week 8 Picks
Odds are from bet365 and are accurate as of the time of publication. Lines move, so check the live board before playing on any sports betting apps.
| Survivor Pick | Matchup | Spread | Moneyline | Implied Win Probability |
| Los Angeles Rams | Chargers at Rams | -6.5 | -310 | 76% |
| Cincinnati Bengals | Titans at Bengals | -10.5 | -600 | 86% |
| Jacksonville Jaguars | Colts at Jaguars | -7.5 | -410 | 80% |
| New England Patriots | Patriots at Dolphins | -7.5 | -380 | 79% |
1. Los Angeles Rams (-6.5, ML: -310) vs. Los Angeles Chargers
The Rams are my pick this week. They’re not the biggest favorite on this list: at -310, they’re the longest moneyline of my four, which implies 76%, or about 73% once the sportsbook margin comes out of both sides.
Cincinnati is the higher-probability play on paper. I’m still on the Rams for two reasons: the matchup and what they cost to burn. Chargers vs. Rams kicks off at 4:05 p.m. ET on FOX from SoFi Stadium.
The Chargers are 0-6, the only winless team left in the league, and they’ve scored a league-low 90 points. Justin Herbert has five touchdown passes against eight interceptions. The Chargers allow 3.5 sacks a game, 31st in the league, while the Rams allow 1.6, sixth. Los Angeles’ other team is coming off a bye, but a bye alone doesn’t fix an offense that leads the league in turnovers.
The Rams’ offense is the more stable of the two. They scored 35 in a win at Las Vegas last week. Matthew Stafford has 14 touchdown passes, three of them in that game, and Kyren Williams, Blake Corum and Puka Nacua give him real options. Most books have the Rams at -6.5 or -7, so shop the number.
Future value is the other reason. The Rams are 3-4, and my survivor model gives them almost no future value, while it keeps some for the Bengals, Jaguars and Patriots. Using the Rams now keeps those better teams available for weeks when they may be the best option left in your pool.
2. Cincinnati Bengals (-10.5, ML: -600) vs. Tennessee Titans
Cincinnati is the most likely winner on the board by price, and it’s my strongest alternative if the Rams are already used. A -600 price implies an 86% win probability. Tennessee sits at +450, and removing the margin from both sides puts Cincinnati at about 82%. Titans vs. Bengals kicks off at 1 p.m. ET on CBS from Paycor Stadium.
The matchup favors the home side. Covers described Cincinnati’s offense as fully healthy after its best game of the season against Baltimore last Sunday. Tennessee, with Cam Ward at quarterback, is 30th in EPA per play and 25th in success rate. The Titans did pick up their first win of the season in Week 6, so they’re no longer winless.
Cincinnati is second only because of what it costs to burn. Joe Burrow’s injury history is the main risk, since one injury could make the Bengals unusable in your pool. They also carry more future value than the Rams, so burning them now costs more. If you just want the best chance of surviving this week, take the Bengals.
3. Jacksonville Jaguars (-7.5, ML: -410) vs. Indianapolis Colts
Jacksonville is a solid option if the Rams and Bengals are both used. Colts vs. Jaguars also kicks off at 1 p.m. ET on CBS, this time from EverBank Stadium. The price of -410 implies 80%, or about 77% once the margin comes out.
The Jaguars are 4-2 and come off a bye. They lost 34-31 before the bye, so they’ve had extra time to reset. Indianapolis is 2-5, and its Week 6 loss to a then-winless Tennessee team is a reminder that the Colts can’t be counted out.
4. New England Patriots (-7.5, ML: -380) at Miami Dolphins
New England is the strongest road option on the board, but it comes with the most risk of the four. Patriots vs. Dolphins kicks off at 4:25 p.m. ET on CBS from Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens. The price implies 79%, or about 76% without the margin.
Miami isn’t winless anymore. The Dolphins won 28-25 at the Jets in Week 7. Malik Willis went 14-of-21 for 208 yards without an interception, and Ollie Gordon II ran for 103 yards. New England is still the clear favorite, but a road team that gives the ball away can lose a seven-point spread.
How Last Week Went: NFL Survivor Week 7 Recap
Week 7 brought more upsets. Miami won for the first time, 28-25 at the Jets. Dallas beat Philadelphia 38-21 on Monday night, the Eagles’ fifth straight loss. Detroit edged Green Bay 20-17. The Patriots lost on Thursday night at Chicago, and Seattle beat Kansas City.
The result that hit the most pools was Miami’s, but Tennessee’s win over Indianapolis a week earlier did the same damage. Even big favorites lose.

NFL Survivor Week 8 Picks FAQ
What is the best NFL survivor pick for Week 8? My pick is the Rams at home against the winless Chargers. They have the matchup edge and little future value, so they’re cheap to burn. Cincinnati has the shortest price at -600, followed by Jacksonville (-410), New England (-380) and the Rams (-310).
Which teams are on a bye in Week 8? The Saints, Giants, 49ers and Texans are all on bye, so none of them is available as a survivor option this week.
Should I save my strongest team for a later week? If you’re in a smaller pool or an early round, using the safest team available each week is usually correct. In larger, longer-running pools, it can be worth saving a top team for a week when it has an even heavier favorite later in the season. Just make sure you’re not reaching for a riskier pick now to do it.
Is Joe Burrow healthy for Week 8? Covers described the Bengals as fully healthy heading into the week. Check the final injury report before kickoff, since a Burrow absence would change this line.
