For the first time since 2016, the PGA TOUR heads to the Blue Monster Course (par 72, 7,739 yards, Bermuda greens) of Trump National Doral in Miami, Florida, for the Cadillac Championship. The Blue Monster hosted the WGC-Cadillac Championship from 2007-2016. Adam Scott (-12) won at the Blue Monster in 2016 by one stroke. This Cadillac Championship is one of the PGA TOUR’s eight Signature Events of the season. There will be 72 golfers competing for a $20 million purse and no cut.
The PGA DFS Breakdown offers data-driven analysis for each week’s slate, using the FantasyLabs Tools and metrics to highlight notable golfers.
I’ll be highlighting the best cash game/single-entry plays on the DraftKings main slate, but these players are often great options in any contest.
My analysis will frequently reference Strokes Gained, a set of proprietary metrics generated by the PGA TOUR using millions of data points to calculate how many shots, on average, it takes a player to get the ball in the hole from every distance and situation.
Strokes Gained is now available in the FantasyLabs PGA Models.
There are a variety of Strokes Gained-related metrics, but the six main categories you need to know include:
- Strokes Gained: Off-the-Tee (SG: Off-the-Tee)
- Strokes Gained: Approach (SG: Approach)
- Strokes Gained: Around-the-Green (SG: Around-the-Green)
- Strokes Gained: Putting (SG: Putting)
- Strokes Gained: Ball-Striking (SG: Ball-Striking), which is SG: Off-the-Tee + SG: Approach
- Strokes Gained: Tee-to-Green (SG: Tee-to-Green), which is SG: Ball-Striking + SG: Around-the-Green
Don’t forget to check out two key metrics in our models — Perfect% and SimLeverage. You can find an explainer on those metrics here.
The Cliffs Notes version is that you can use SimLeverage to quickly find leverage plays in tournaments, while Perfect% is great for finding the best price-considered plays for cash games.
And don’t forget to utilize our various PGA DFS tools like our Lineup Optimizer, Lineup Builder, PGA Correlation Dashboard, and our Trends tool.

PGA DFS Cash Game Thoughts
DraftKings $10,000 Range
Cameron Young ($10,200)
The Blue Monster is a long, challenging venue that requires great work with both your driver and irons, as each of the past two Cadillac Championship winners at this par 72 have finished the event in the top 10 in both Strokes Gained: Off-the-Tee and Strokes Gained: Approach. Cameron Young ranks 10th in Strokes Gained: Off-the-Tee and 18th in Strokes Gained: Approach this season, and his second win of 2026 is possible at the Blue Monster. Young has finished inside the top seven in four of his last five starts, including a T3 at the Masters and a win at THE PLAYERS Championship, which was played at another difficult Florida course, TPC Sawgrass. When we compare this field’s last 24 rounds, Young ranks third in Total Strokes Gained.
DraftKings $9,000 Range
Collin Morikawa ($9,800)
Collin Morikawa has been dealing with a nagging back injury, but you would have no idea based on his results. The two-time major champion is coming off a T4 finish at the RBC Heritage, which is his fifth straight finish inside the top seven. This was two weeks ago, so Morikawa should be well rested, and his back should be close to fully healed. Morikawa leads the PGA TOUR in Strokes Gained: Approach, and he ranks 16th in Strokes Gained: Off-the-Tee, so his game suits the Blue Monster very well.

DraftKings $8,000 Range
Adam Scott ($8,400)
Adam Scott’s win at the Blue Monster in 2016 isn’t the only time he has performed well at the Florida track. Scott has played this course 10 times, and he has finished T6 or better in five of these starts. The Aussie has shot as low as an 8-under 64 at the Blue Monster. No player in this field has a better or longer resume at the par 72, and Scott should have another strong showing at the Blue Monster this week. This season, the veteran hasn’t missed a cut in eight starts, with five top-25 finishes, and he ranks third in Strokes Gained: Approach.
Jacob Bridgeman ($8,300)
Jacob Bridgeman has been one of the best players on the PGA TOUR this season and is underpriced. The Clemson graduate is 10-for-10 in made cuts, and he has finished inside the top 20 eight times. Bridgeman won another Signature Event in the Genesis Invitational in February, and he also finished T5 at the Florida-based PLAYERS Championship in March, so Bridgeman is no stranger to contending in world-class fields. Plus, Bridgeman ranks third in par-5 performance this season, setting him up nicely for a par 72 like the Blue Monster, where three of the last five victors have finished the event in the top three in par-5 scoring.
Rickie Fowler ($8,000)
Rickie Fowler is on the heels of a T8 finish at the RBC Heritage, marking his seventh top-20 finish in his last 12 starts, and he knows the Blue Monster well. Fowler has finished inside the top 12 in three of his six starts at this par 72, including a T8 in his last visit in 2016. Fowler only lives about an hour and a half north of the Blue Monster in Jupiter, and he is a two-time winner in the state of Florida. The 37-year-old ranks 27th in Total Driving this season, and Fowler is a strong bargain at this salary.

DraftKings $7,000 Range
Kurt Kitayama ($7,900)
Kurt Kitayama has made 8 of 10 cuts, and he has carded four top-25 finishes this season. In his last start, Kitayama finished T8 at the RBC Heritage while gaining strokes in every major category, except with his putter. Kitayama ranks 11th in Strokes Gained: Approach this season, and his +4400 odds to win the Cadillac Championship on DraftKings Sportsbook are strong relative to his salary. For perspective, these are better odds than Harris English at $8,500.
Keegan Bradley ($7,500)
After closing the Masters with a 6-under 66, en route to a T21 finish, Keegan Bradley finished T12 at the RBC Heritage in his next start. Bradley has shot 68 or lower in four of his last five rounds, and he will now look to carry this momentum over to the Blue Monster. Bradley has finished inside the top eight in two of his four starts at this venue – including a 6-under 66 in 2012 – and his strong driving skills give him great upside at the Blue Monster. This season, Bradley ranks 18th in Total Driving.
Gary Woodland ($7,400)
Gary Woodland is on a roll right now, finishing T14, first, T33, and T8 in his last four starts. That victory came at the Houston Open last month, and Woodland ran away with a five-shot win that week. The veteran’s driver has been his best club this season, with Woodland ranking second in driving distance and 16th in Strokes Gained: Off-the-Tee, which are great signs for the lengthy Blue Monster. Woodland has finished T29 or better in all three of his starts at this course, and he is a cash game staple at this cheap price tag.

DraftKings $6,000 and Below Range
Corey Conners ($6,900)
Priced under $7,000 for only the second time this season, Corey Conners is a steal this week. The Canadian has only missed one cut in nine starts this season, and he just carded back-to-back top-15 finishes in Florida last month. Conners ranks fourth among this field in strokes gained per round in the Sunshine State, and for the season, he ranks in the top 30 in both Strokes Gained: Approach and Total Driving.
Jordan Smith ($6,800)
Jordan Smith finished T16 at the RBC Heritage two weeks ago, including a 5-under 66 in the final round. The Englishman has produced five top-30 finishes in 10 solo starts this season, and two of these top 30s have come in the state of Florida, most notably with a season-best T3 at the Valspar Championship. Smith ranks top 30 in both Strokes Gained: Off-the-Tee and Strokes Gained: Approach this season, making him a strong match for the Blue Monster.
