The Masters DraftKings Round 2 Pick6 Picks

The Masters is off to a great start with Round 1 in the books on Thursday with plenty of drama and excitement. Augusta National Golf Club played difficult at 1.59 strokes over par, but there were also low scores to be had as well. Justin Rose has a three-stroke lead after a -7 on Thursday with eight birdies and a bogey on Thursday. With three rounds of glorious golf remaining, there are many different ways to get in on the action with fantasy golf plays this week. One exciting way to jump into the action is with DraftKings Pick6.

Below you’ll find some of my favorite picks on DraftKings Pick6. Pick6 is the newest product from DraftKings.

DraftKings Pick6 Picks for the Masters

Bryson DeChambeau More Than 71.5 Strokes

There are a few kinds of Pick6 picks for Round 2. In the first style of pick, you can either pick a player’s score to be more or less than a certain number of strokes. For these picks, remember that par on this course is 72.

On Thursday, DeChambeau finished with less than 71.5 strokes with a three-under 69. He had seven birdies alongside four bogeys while only making seven pars in a roller-coaster round. Coming into the event, DeChambeau had the lead at LIV Golf Miami going into the final round but dropped four strokes in his first 10 holes and fell to a fifth-place finish.

Recently at Augusta, DeChambeau has also been very inconsistent. He opened last year’s tournament with an impressive 65 but then was over par in the next three rounds. Looking back further, he needed 72 strokes or more to complete 11 of his last 13 rounds at Augusta National.

He showed on Thursday that he has the potential to go under this number, but statistically, it seems much more likely that he finishes at par or higher based on the field’s performance on Thursday and his own recent course history.

Ludvig Aberg More Than 3.5 Birdies Or Better

Another style of pick available for Friday’s Round 2 is picking more or less Birdies or Better. The projection is set in different places for different players, and the sentimental favorite will be Fred Couples to make more than 1.5 birdies or better to continue one of the most amazing stories of the week. Couples shot a round of -1 on Thursday with two birdies and a magical eagle that will be one of the most memorable moments from this year’s Masters regardless of the rest of the week. It’s his 40th Masters!

The pick I actually like a little more, though, is Aberg to make more than 3.5 birdies or better. On Thursday in Round 1, Aberg had five birdies, including four in his last seven holes. His irons were much sharper than last week in San Antonio, and he looked ready to contend again this week after finishing runner-up in his Masters debut last season.

In last year’s Masters, he fired a -3 on Friday with six birdies or better. He had four more birdies on Saturday’s card and five on Sunday. That means that in each of his last four rounds at Augusta, he has had more than 3.5 birdies or better, and I think he’ll keep that streak going with another good round on Friday.
