Wednesday’s NBA Prediction Markets

Miami is priced almost evenly across the exchanges, with the Heat around the low-50-cent range and the total centered near 243.5.

The late game shows a larger difference. Polymarket has the Lakers at 66¢ to win, while Kalshi prices the same outcome at 73¢. The spreads are much closer, with Lakers -5.5 around 53¢ on both exchanges.

Timberwolves vs. Heat Prediction

Minnesota went 49-33 last season and reached the Western Conference semifinals, but the roster looks different entering opening night. Julius Randle and Naz Reid departed in the trade for LaMelo Ball, while Donte DiVincenzo remains out recovering from a torn Achilles.

Ball and Anthony Edwards now begin their first regular-season game together on the road.

Miami reshaped its own roster around Antetokounmpo and Bobby Portis while retaining Bam Adebayo. That gives the Heat a formidable frontcourt combination against a Minnesota team with less depth inside.

Miami also gets home court for Antetokounmpo’s debut. At 51¢, I prefer the Heat at a price that gives the home team almost no meaningful premium.

Warriors vs. Lakers Prediction

The Lakers rebuilt around Dončić after James left for Philadelphia, adding Walker Kessler and Quentin Grimes among several new pieces. Dončić has been a full participant in practice after dealing with a hamstring injury late last season.
