Baseball is back! Check back here throughout the day for updated blurbs as teams confirm their lineup. We’ll keep you updated on some of the day’s highest-impact trends by utilizing our Models and Vegas dashboard. Projected and confirmed lineups for every game can be found on our MLB Daily Lineups page.

Pirates (-108) at Brewers (-100) — 7:10 PM EST

Brewers in: Hernan Perez

Brewers out: Ryan Braun

Ryan Braun remains out of the lineup for the second straight day with a calf issue. Jesus Aguilar will bat third once more, and Hernan Perez will enter the lineup and bat sixth in Braun’s absence. Five of the Brewers’ hitters have a positive recent batted-ball distance differential, but Pirates’ right-hander Jameson Taillon leads all pitchers with a 62% recent groundball rate. The Brewers are presently implied to score 4.2 runs — a modest mark in the main slate — and Aguilar is among the top-rated first basemen in the Bales Model. Aguilar stands out at his position as his team is implied to score the fewest runs and he’s the only one who has less than five Pro Trends on DraftKings among the top-rated first basemen. His salary ($3,500) combined with his recent form — 250-foot batted ball distance, 97 MPH exit velocity — has historically produced a +1.47 DraftKings Plus/Minus among similarly-priced first basemen.

Twins (-105) at White Sox (-103) — 7:10 PM EST

White Sox in: Leury Garcia

White Sox out: Yoan Moncada

Yoan Moncada left Friday’s game in the fifth inning after re-aggravating his left hamstring and has been placed on the 10-day disabled list on Saturday. He recently missed a game due to a tight left hamstring and the team is going to let him fully heal instead of rushing him back. The White Sox are currently implied to score a favorable 4.8 runs as they face off against right-handed pitcher Lance LynnLeury Garcia will draw the start at second base and hit leadoff for the first time this season, while Yolmer Sanchez remains in the two-hole. Sanchez has seen each of his recent batted-ball statistics increase over the last 15 days and remains affordable at $3,300 on DraftKings. Garcia carries a 93% Bargain Rating on FanDuel and makes for an exceptional value at $2,100 with a bump atop the lineup. Despite recording a 27% Consistency Rating in the last month, Jose Abreu still profiles as an intriguing tournament option with a team-high .363 wOBA and .237 ISO against righties over the last 12 months.

Rockies (+115) at Mets (-125) — 7:10 PM EST

Mets in: Brandon Nimmo

Mets out: Michael Conforto

Michael Conforto will receive a day off on Saturday as he has failed to record an extra base hit since April 16. Brandon Nimmo remains in the lineup in center field and will hit leadoff for the second consecutive day, while Yoenis Cespedes returns to the two-hole for the first time in seven games. The Mets are one of three teams presently implied to score 4.3 runs in the main slate, which coincides with the eighth-highest team total. The Mets also have the fourth-highest Team Value Rating on DraftKings, and Nimmo leads the team with a 0.399 wOBA against right-handed pitchers over the last year. He costs no more than $3,100 on DraftKings or FanDuel, but his recent batted-ball metrics are among the worst on the slate. He’ll profile as a punt option who has normally met salary-based expectation when he’s started this season.
