Daily Fantasy Football NFL DFS Picks: Landon’s Locks for Week 14

There are an abundance of tools at FantasyLabs to use for your NFL DFS lineups each week. Our most popular tools are our NFL Player Models, which house our NFL DFS projections from Sean Koerner.

You can use these projections in our models with our Lineup Builder to hand-build your lineups or use our Lineup Optimizer to effortlessly create up to 150 lineups for your NFL DFS tournaments.

In this article, we will go position by position, highlighting my favorite plays for both cash games and single-entry/three-max GPP contests. These plays are also viable in large field tournaments but do not focus on ownership percentages.

NFL DFS Cash Game + Single-Entry GPP Locks

NFL DFS Quarterback Picks

Joe Burrow ($7,000 DraftKings, $8,300 FanDuel) Cincinnati Bengals vs. Cleveland Browns

Burrow finds himself in an elite spot this week at home vs. a Browns team giving up the sixth most points per game in the NFL. Cincinnati has been incredibly pass-heavy this season, ranking second in the NFL in pass rate over expectation, and Burrow will have a full complement of weapons with Ja’Marr Chase back from his hip issue and Joe Mixon set to return from his concussion.

The Bengals have a healthy 26-point implied team total this week and will absolutely be up for this game after getting embarrassed by the Browns on Monday night football in Week 8. Burrow has been running quite a bit of late as well, having posted 11 and nine rush attempts each of the past two games for a combined 78 yards.

Getting a $1,300 discount on Josh Allen makes a big difference, and you’re not losing much upside.

Jared Goff ($5,600 DraftKings, $7,100 FanDuel) Detroit Lions vs. Minnesota Vikings

Goff has pretty stark home/away splits, as he’s averaging 22.3 DraftKings points at home compared to just 9.9 away from Ford Field. Thankfully the Lions are home again this week in what’s projected to be a shootout with the Vikings. This game has the highest total on the main slate at 51.5, with the Lions favored by four points. Goff just threw for 340 yards and two touchdowns against the Jaguars last week and now gets this Charmin soft Minnesota secondary that’s allowing the fourth most DraftKings points to opposing signal callers.

All we are looking for is 20 or so from Goff at his $5,600 salary, and if Detroit hits its team total this week, he should be able to exceed that.

NFL DFS Running Back Picks

Derrick Henry ($7,900 DraftKings, $9,000 FanDuel) Tennessee Titans vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

The Big Dog is set up in a pristine spot this week as the Titans are 3.5-point home favorites against the Jaguars, who rank in the bottom 10 in DraftKings points allowed to running backs. Henry is priced under $8,000 for the first time since Week 2, mainly because he’s been getting game-scripted out of play. The Titans got trounced by the Eagles in Week 13, so Henry only saw 11 carries.

Things will be different this week, and I would expect Mike Vrabel to get Henry going in the screen game in this spot, as Jacksonville has allowed the third most receptions and receiving yards to running backs. Regardless, Henry remains one of the biggest favorites on the slate to score a touchdown and should receive another hefty workload in what should be a positive game script for Tennessee.

Joe Mixon (6,900 DraftKings, $8,500 FanDuel) Cincinnati Bengals vs. Cleveland Browns

Mixon is set to return after a two-game absence due to a concussion and should take back his bell-cow roll from Samaje Perine, who has performed admirably in his stead. If we believe Mixon gets his old role back, he’s absolutely underpriced at just $6,900 at home vs. the Browns, who rank 31st in rush defense DVOA on the season.

As mentioned above, the Bengals have a healthy team total and should be in the red zone plenty, which will lead to plenty of scoring chances for Mixon. He’s one of the top points per dollar plays on the slate and can be played with Burrow.

NFL DFS Wide Receiver Picks

Amon-Ra St. Brown ($7,800 DraftKings, $8,600 FanDuel) Detroit Lions vs. Minnesota Vikings

There is not much left to say about St. Brown, who is locked in as a WR1 and has one of the best roles in the NFL. He went nuts again last week against the Jaguars, catching 11-of-12 targets for 114 yards and two touchdowns. He now gets the Vikings, who rank 29th in yards per pass attempt allowed and 30th in DraftKings points allowed to wide receivers.

The Lions have the second-highest implied team total on the slate at 26.75, and the Sun God is likely looking at another double-digit target game in this expected shootout with the Vikings. He’s caught a ridiculous 37 of his past 41 targets and is arguably the best WR play on the slate this week.

D.J. Moore ($5,500 DraftKings, $6,900 FanDuel) Carolina Panthers @ Seattle Seahawks

The Panthers have a much more respectable offense with Sam Darnold under center, and that immediately paid dividends for D.J. Moore in Week 12, who caught four balls for 103 yards and a touchdown. He’ll now find himself in a likely competitive game against the Seahawks, as the Panthers are only 3.5-point road dogs this week. Seattle can score in bunches and have been in quite a few shootouts this season, which should lead the Panthers to throw a bit more than usual here.

Moore could be looking at close to eight targets for just $5,500 on DraftKings, making him one of the better receivers values on the slate.

NFL DFS Tight End Picks

Greg Dulcich ($3,400 DraftKings, $5,400 FanDuel) Denver Broncos vs. Kansas City Chiefs

Dulcich finally connected with Russell Wilson last week against the Ravens, posting six catches for a career-high 85 yards. Despite the best effort of the rookie’s young career, his price did not move at all on DraftKings, as he’s still $3,400 in a prime spot against the Chiefs. With Courtland Sutton out with the hamstring injury he suffered last week, it should filter a few more targets to Dulcich in a spot where points will be needed against Patrick Mahomes and Co.

Dulcich is simply too cheap for his projected role and is the best points-per-dollar play at the position this week.

Austin Hooper ($2,900 DraftKings, $4,900 FanDuel) Tennessee Titans vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

If you prefer to completely punt it off at tight end this week, Hooper has been getting a decent bit of work lately. The big fella has four or more targets in each of his past four games while catching at least balls in each of those. The Titans run multiple tight ends, which is annoying, but that’s baked into Hooper’s price already. It also helps that Treylon Burks is out this week, which could lead to an extra couple of targets.

You’re not rostering Hooper for his ceiling, but he could easily go for 10+ points this week which would be outstanding at $2,900 and allow you to jam in whichever stud you want elsewhere.
