CS:GO DFS Projections for Friday, April 24: Felps Providing Value on FanDuel

Friday’s Main slate once again consists of six matches kicking off at 12:30 p.m. ET. Isurus, RED Canids, BOOM, and Imperial will each be playing for the third time in three days, while Evil Geniuses (No. 7 world ranking) and 100 Thieves (No. 9 world ranking) rejoin the fold.

CS:GO Notes for Friday, April 24

DraftKings

  • Nython’s salary is down $1,200, from $7,000 on Thursday to $5,800 on Friday and he currently rates as the third-best value for the favored RED Canids, who open as -155 favorites against Imperial. Nython sticks out like a sore thumb due to his cheap salary when sorting by raw projected points, where he checks in at No. 8 on the slate.
  • Fresh off of limiting Imperial to only five total rounds won en route to a 2-0 demolition, members of BOOM Esports will likely be popular on Friday as the team is once again favored, this time against Isurus Gaming. Felps led Thursday’s attack with 36 kills against 20 deaths and a 1.65 Rating 2.0 grade and he currently has the third-highest projection on Friday’s slate. Right behind felps with a 62.47 projection is chelo, who costs $8,400. Together, felps and chelo account for nearly 47% of BOOM’s team kills making them an ideal duo to deploy in stacked builds.
  • As was the case on Wednesday, Grim again leads the slate in kill share, accounting for 24.5% of Triumph’s team kills. Despite the massive kill rate, Grim was only 10.5% owned in DraftKings’ largest tournament on Wednesday, most likely because Triumph was listed as a +300 dog to Cloud9. Grim came through, racking up 64 kills against 51 deaths and it might be deja vu all over again Friday with Triumph currently listed at +270 against Gen.G. I expect Grim’s ownership to remain low with DFS players typically hesitant to roster underdogs.

FanDuel

  • Felps sticks out even more on FanDuel due to salary. Priced as the second-most expensive player on DraftKings, Felps’ $9,900 FanDuel salary makes him the 22nd-most expensive player on the slate. He will be very tough to pass up at that valuation.
  • Gen.G looks like the team to stack on FanDuel. Despite being listed as the largest favorite on the slate at -400, Gen.G is only the fifth-most expensive team, costing $56,900 in total team salary. Unfortunately, Gen.G has a balanced attack with four of its five members commanding kill shares between 20.3% and 21.1%. This makes Gen.G is an ideal team to shuffle through in multi-entry, though it may be difficult to pick out individual pieces in single entry and cash game formats.
