Point Guard

Stud

Luka Doncic ($11,200) has gone for at least 60 DraftKings points in four of the last seven games with a high of 72.25. He’s a threat to triple-double on any given night, and his usage rate has been in the mid-to-high 30% range. Kristaps Porzingis is out today, and in 674 minutes with him off the court this season, Doncic has seen a 2.4% usage rate increase to 38.9%.

Value

Tre Jones ($3,000) will likely make his third start of the season because Dejounte Murray is out. In the prior two starts, he played 32 and 23 minutes, producing 27.75 and 13.25 DraftKings points. He averages 0.84 FP/Min. He will likely be highly owned, but he’s the stone minimum and should get plenty of minutes.

Fast Break

Killian Hayes ($4,200) has put up 22.75, 24.5, and 33.5 DraftKings points in the last three games. He’s played 25, 29, and 25 minutes while garnering a usage rate in the teens. That trend is positive considering he was often scoring below 15 DraftKings points earlier in the season.

Shooting Guard

Stud

Anthony Edwards ($8,500) has been on a heater, going for over 60 DraftKings points in two of the last three games. Now he gets a matchup against a Jazz team that has seen its defensive rating plummet with Rudy Gobert off the court.

Value

Devin Vassell ($4,100) will likely make his seventh start of the season in place of Derrick White. In the prior six starts, he played at least 28 minutes in all of those contests with three over 30. He produced over 20 DraftKings points in four with two over 30. He averages 0.9 FP/Min.

Fast Break

Will Barton ($5,700) should return to action after missing the last game. He’s gone for at least 40 DraftKings points in two of the last three games. He averages 0.94 FP/Min and often has a usage rate in the mid-20% range.

Small Forward

Stud

Khris Middleton ($8,200) garners a usage rate in the 30% range. Over the last five games, he’s gone for at least 30 DraftKings points in all with two above 40 and a high of 50. This game has the highest total on the slate at 231.5, and the Nuggets boost the FPPM to small forwards by 4.75%.

Value

Reggie Bullock ($3,600) has stepped up with Tim Hardaway Jr. out of commission. He’s played 23 and 25 minutes over the last two games and produced 31.75 and 24 DraftKings points. With Porzingis also out, Bullock should get plenty of shot attempts. Whether he makes them is another question.

Fast Break

Franz Wagner ($5,700) will likely end up scoring in the mid-20 DraftKings range, but he does have 40-point upside, which he’s done three times in the last nine games.

Power Forward

Stud

Giannis Antetokounmpo ($11,800) averages a ridiculous 1.74 FP/Min. Over the last month, it’s been 1.81! He’s a threat to go for 70 DraftKings points on any given night and has one of the highest floor/ceiling combos on the slate.

Value

Keldon Johnson ($5,400) should soak up a big portion of the usage void left by Murray and White. The sample size is small, but in 37 minutes with both of them off the court, Johnson has seen an 8.2% usage bump to 28.4%. Johnson averages 0.89 FP/Min, and he’s scored at least 25 DraftKings points in nine of the last 10 games, with the two most recent over 30.

Fast Break

Kevin Love ($6,200) has gone for 43.25 DraftKings points in each of the last two games despite playing only 27 and 24 minutes. The matchup is a good one, as the Pistons boost the FPPM to centers by 10.05% while they boost the three-point prowess to power forwards by a whopping 58.54%.

Stud

Nikola Jokic ($12,400) averages 1.83 FP/Min. L. O. L. He’s triple-doubled 12 times this season and 69 times in his career, so that outcome is always a possibility on any given day. He’s gone over 70 DraftKings points 11 times this season with a high of 93!

Value

Jock Landale ($3,000) could get the start for Jakob Poeltl, as that’s how it played out two weeks ago. In that game, Landale played 26 minutes and put up 30.25 DraftKings points. Landale averages 0.99 FP/Min.

Fast Break

Maxi Kleber ($3,700) averages 0.8 FP/Min and has started the last 15 games. The playing time and production have been inconsistent, but over the last two games, he’s gone for 39 and 28.75 DraftKings points. The minutes should be there with Porzingis out, and he should get more offensive opportunities.
