Point Guard

Stud

Luka Doncic ($12,200) will play after getting his 16th technical foul rescinded. That’s laughable, but I get it. Anyway, it’s good for us fantasy nerds, because Doncic is averaging 1.61 FP/Min and is a threat to triple-double on any given day. Over the last eight games, he’s gone for at least 50 DraftKings points in each of those contests with three above 70. His usage rate has been over 40% in six of the last seven games.

Value

Ayo Dosunmu ($3,900) has cooled off after his blistering entrance into the starting lineup months ago. A big reason was because the Bulls got healthy, so the usage and playing time subsided. Most of the key players for the Bulls are sitting today, so Dosunmu should get plenty of minutes and should see an increase in usage rate.

Fast Break

Zavier Simpson ($4,800) has played 47, 39 and 44 minutes in the last three games. The usage rate has only been in the teens, but he’s gone for 32, 28.25 and 26.25 DraftKings points.

Shooting Guard

Stud

Anthony Edwards ($8,000) went for 72.5 DraftKings points Thursday. That was with Karl-Anthony Towns in and D’Angelo Russell sitting. His usage rate was 37%, the first time it’s been over 30 percent since the beginning of March. Towns is out today, while Russell is questionable. The Bulls will be running out their JV squad today, so Edwards should feast.

Value

Talen Horton-Tucker ($5,200) has seen his price rise dramatically, and for good reason. He’s played 37 and 35 minutes while garnering a usage rate of 37.4% and 23.6%. The Lakers have packed it in, so it’s time for THT to shine. There are shooting efficiency concerns, but the high usage rate and playing time should mitigate that somewhat with the accumulation of counting stats.

Fast Break

Tyler Herro ($6,800) should feast off the bench for the Heat, since they will be sitting Jimmy Butler.

Small Forward

Stud

Jaylen Brown ($9,400) is $900 cheaper than Jayson Tatum, but both could score in the same range. Brown has gone for at least 50 DraftKings points in four of the last five games, with the lone miss at 48.75 DraftKings points. His usage rate has been over 30% in each of those contests.

Value

Georgios Kalaitzakis ($4,800) has played 43, 30 and 45 minutes over the last three games. His usage rate has been at least 19% in all of those contests. He’s scored double-digits in every game and attempted 19, nine, and 13 shots. He has racked up three, two, and three steals.

Fast Break

Javonte Green ($3,200) will likely enter the starting rotation with the Bulls resting most of their key players. He’s averaging 0.82 FP/Min over the last month.

Power Forward

Stud

Pascal Siakam ($10,000) has triple-doubled twice over the last seven games and posted a 40-point game. He’s gone for 63, 76.75 and 62.25 DraftKings points in Toronto’s three most recent contests. The Knicks have been stout against centers all season long, but Mitchell Robinson is questionable today and may not play. Instead, it’s Jericho Sims.

Value

Naz Reid ($3,300) should get the start with Karl-Anthony Towns getting the day off. In five starts this season, Reid has averaged 28.2 minutes, 15.8 points, 8.2 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 0.6 steals, and 0.4 blocks. That translated to 30.75, 37, 19.25, 39.75, and 25.5 DraftKings points. His usage rate was 19.8%.

Fast Break

Jericho Sims ($4,100) has played 35 and 34 minutes in the last two games. He’s gone for 27.25 and 38.25 DraftKings points and could post similar output if Robinson doesn’t play.

Stud

Jaylen Hoard ($7,000) has played over 40 minutes in three of the last five games. The usage rate has been over 20% in the three most recent contests. He’s gone for 59.25, 39.75, 61.75, and 46.5 DraftKings points since being inserted into the starting lineup. He’s scored over 20 points in each of the last three games and has two games with at least 20 rebounds.

Value

DeMarcus Cousins ($3,100) could get the start since Nikola Jokic is questionable. Cousins is averaging 1.37 FP/Min this season with a usage rate of 28.3%. In six starts, he’s averaged 23.3 minutes, 16.8 points, 8.5 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 1.5 steals, and 0.7 blocks.

Fast Break

Obi Toppin ($6,500) has played 31, 35, 43, and 38 minutes over the last four games. He’s gone for over 30 DraftKings points in all of them with 47.5 in the most recent contest. His usage rate has been over 20% in three of them. He’s scored 20, 20, 19, and 35 points.
