Cash Game Strategy

Lamar Jackson, who’s been dually threatening defenses with 225.8 passing yards and 78.1 rushing yards per game, has scored less than 21.28 DraftKings points just once in 10 games this season. His median projection in our DraftKings Showdown Models for tonight is nearly eight points higher than any other player on the slate. With Jackson in the Captain spot, you can still fit Mark Ingram, Todd Gurley and Jared Goff if you punt the last two spots with Hayden Hurst, who is second on the Ravens in targets inside the 10 (seven), and Tyler Higbee, who is tied for lead on the Rams with four targets inside the 10.

On FanDuel, you can’t fit both starting QBs and RBs, and with the Rams going into full “hide Goff” mode with 34 runs and 18 passes in last week’s win over Chicago, it makes the most sense to fade the fourth-year QB. Going with Lamar, Ingram, and Gurley leaves enough room for Brandin Cooks, who has cleared the concussion protocol and is essentially the top Rams pass catcher you can afford, and Willie Snead, who is a bit underpriced at $5,500 as Baltimore’s No. 2 wide receiver.
