Reds (+126) at Mets (-137) — 7:10 PM EST

Reds out: Joey Votto (sore right knee)

Reds in: Brandon Dixon

Joey Votto is dealing with a right knee ailment, and he’ll be rested vs. the Mets and left-hander Jason Vargas on Tuesday. Brandon Dixon will replace Votto at first and Scooter Gennett will move up to the three-hole for a Reds team presently implied to score 4.0 runs. Eugenio Suarez, Phillip Ervin, and Tucker Barnhart all have a wOBA greater than 0.400 against lefties over the past year, and Suarez and Ervin have posted a recent batted ball distance of at least 245 feet. They’ll be solid options against Vargas, who has allowed a slate-high 245-foot recent batted ball distance and seven combined runs in his last two outings. Ervin costs $2,300 on FanDuel, and based on the Reds’ low implied total, Ervin will serve as a low-owned punt play in tournaments, and he’s averaged 16.20 FanDuel points per game in starts against lefties this season.

Mariners (-108) at Rangers (-100) — 8:05 PM EST

Mariners out: Jean Segura

Mariners in: Andre Romine

Jean Segura will receive a routine day of rest on Tuesday as Andrew Romine enters the lineup at shortstop. Mitch Haniger will slide up to the two-hole with Romine hitting ninth, and the Mariners are presently implied to score 5.6 runs — tied for the highest mark in Tuesday’s main slate. Kyle Seager is the highest-rated hitter on the team on both DraftKings and FanDuel and benefits from a more favorable Park Factor rating as a left-handed hitter. Opposing pitcher Bartolo Colon has allowed batters to register a 43% hard-hit percentage over the last 15 days, and Nelson Cruz matches up well with a recent hard-hit percentage of 47%. Cruz also carries a 97% Bargain Rating on FanDuel and has blasted seven home runs in his previous 11 games, resulting in elite upside as a tournament option.
