CS:GO DFS Projections for Saturday, April 11: Can Astralis Make it Two in a Row Against mousesports?

After a one-day hiatus, FanDuel returns with its second CS:GO slate on Saturday! FanDuel’s slate contains two games — Astralis/mousesports and Evil Geniuses/Furia — while DraftKings’ slate also includes Orgless/Chaos and Gen.G/FunPlus Phoenix. Projections for both sites are listed below.

CS:GO Notes for Saturday, Apr. 11

  • On Wednesday, Astralis crushed mousesports, 2-0, while holding mousesports to only four total rounds won over the course of the entire match. The two teams are back in action today with Astralis understandably listed as the heavy favorite. Although Xyp9x has posted an impressive 105:70 kill:death ratio over Astralis’ past three games, DraftKings remains hesitant to price him among the elite options. Xyp9x’s $7,400 salary is actually down $400 following his 135-point performance in the last meeting between Astralis and mousesports. Xyp9x should be a more popular play on DraftKings than on FanDuel, where he has the highest salary on the slate.
  • Despite being listed as underdogs today, frozen and ropz of mousesports both rate well on FanDuel. They are buoyed by high head-shot rates of 51.8% (ropz) and 54.3 (frozen) over the past six months — two of the top three rates on today’s slate. FanDuel’s scoring format awards a 0.2-point bonus for each head-shot, one of the key differences between FanDuel and DraftKings scoring.
  • Brehze’s 52% head-shot rate ranks second in the category and he rates well on both sites today. In addition to the high head-shot rate, Brehze also benefits from a slate-high 23.4% share of team kills and from playing on an Evil Geniuses squad that is currently listed as a -175 favorite against Furia.
  • While Astralis seems likely to be the most popular team to stack on both sites today, Gen.G is a solid alternative on DraftKings. BnTeT, s0m, and autimatic all rank inside the top 10 in terms of projected points and all are priced affordably, falling between $6,400 and $7,000. Behind Astralis, Gen.G is the second-largest favorite on the slate, currently listed at -200 against FunPlus Phoenix.
