Week 4 NFL DFS Stacks and Picks
Daniel Jones + Michael Pittman Jr. + Tyler Warren + Puka Nacua
- Daniel Jones ($5,600 DraftKings, $7,400 FanDuel)
- Michael Pittman Jr. ($5,100 DraftKings, $5,800 FanDuel)
- Tyler Warren ($4,600 DraftKings, $5,800 FanDuel)
- Puka Nacua ($7,900 DraftKings, $9,400 FanDuel)
Reviewing the Week 4 Main Slate, the four afternoon games will draw a ton of attention due to their game totals and players to choose from. It all starts with the Indianapolis Colts visiting the Los Angeles Rams. This game has the highest total on the slate at 49.5 points.
Despite leading the league in QBR and ranking fourth in fantasy scoring per game, Daniel Jones is still an elite value play across the industry. On DraftKings at $5,600, Jones leads the slate at the quarterback position in optimal lineup rate in our NFL Sims. He has three passing and three rushing touchdowns through the first three games with zero interceptions and only two sacks.
Led by Jones, the Colts rank second in both offensive EPA per play and scoring at 34.3 points per game. The Rams have had a strong defense through the first three weeks, but their only true test was the reigning champion Philadelphia Eagles last week. This Colts offense should be able to find success.
Running back Jonathan Taylor scored three touchdowns on the ground last week with 102 yards. However, due to his salary continuing to rise and the Rams rushing defense, prioritizing the Colts passing attack is the best way to approach this game from a stacking perspective.
Wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. leads the Colts in receptions and receiving touchdowns and is tied with Tyler Warren with 193 total receiving yards. Pittman Jr. has a 22% target share and is coming off a season-high 93% route participation. He has scored in two of the three games this season with at least four receptions in each game. Pittman Jr. is one of Jones’ favorite targets.
The other stacking partner to pair with Jones and Pittman Jr. is rookie tight end Tyler Warren. It has been a great start to Warren’s rookie campaign. He leads the Colts with 21 targets and 130 yards after the catch. Warren also ranks third among all tight ends in target rate at 24%, but he has yet to hit paydirt. Along with Jones, Warren is one of the best value plays available and leads all tight ends in optimal lineup rate in our NFL Sims Lab. He is projected for the highest ownership on both DraftKings and FanDuel.
Bringing this Colts’ stack back with Rams’ wide receiver Puka Nacua is the obvious choice. Nacua has become a staple in cash-game contests and an incredible high-upside play in tournaments. He leads the league in targets per route run at 43% and target share at 39%. Nacua is averaging 26.5 DraftKings points per game and will be once again the best wide receiver to target on this main slate.
Nacua’s teammate Davante Adams has yet to practice this week due to a hamstring injury. If he is unable to play this week, that would make Nacua basically a lock in all formats, even at his elevated price tag. Even if Adams does suit up, Nacua is an incredible play this week.
Pairing Jones with Pittman Jr. and Warren with a Nacua bring back is my favorite stack of Week 4.

Geno Smith + Jakobi Meyers + Brock Bowers + Rome Odunze
- Geno Smith ($5,400 DraftKings, $7,200 FanDuel)
- Jakobi Meyers ($5,400 DraftKings, $6,100 FanDuel)
- Brock Bowers ($5,800 DraftKings, $6,700 FanDuel)
- Rome Odunze ($6,300 DraftKings, $7,200 FanDuel)
Another afternoon game to target is this matchup between the Chicago Bears and Las Vegas Raiders. The Raiders are 1.5-point home favorites, with this game total being 47.5 points. Both offenses should find success against the opposing defenses, so both teams are worth stacking in this spot.
The Raiders behind quarterback Geno Smith is my preferred way to attack this matchup. After ranking in the top 10 in dropbacks per game last season with the Seahawks, Smith is trending in that same direction this season with the Raiders. He is coming off a three-touchdown game against the Commanders where he recorded a season-high 26.1 DraftKings points.
Getting Smith at $5,400 on DraftKings is a fantastic value, but so is getting his two pass-catchers under $6,000. Jakobi Meyers ranks third in optimal lineup rate in our NFL Sims Lab at the wide receiver position, and rightfully so given his cheap price tag and leading the Raiders in receptions, targets, and yards to start the season. Meyers had double-digit targets in each of the first two games and only four in the last game, which kept his salary in check.
Tre Tucker stole the show last week with three receiving touchdowns and is certainly in play at $4,200, but he still feels like a large-field tournament play. It makes more sense to go with the reliable target Meyers, who has a 25% target share and a respectable 21% target per route run. Meyers will be one of the most popular mid-range value plays on the slate.
Brock Bowers has not looked like himself since Week 1, but it sounds like his knee issue is now behind him, according to reports. It is also unlikely that his backup tight end, Michael Meyer, will be able to play, due to being in the concussion protocol. Bowers had 38 receiving yards in back-to-back games, which has brought his price tag down considerably. Now is the time to buy this elite tight end.
The Bears defense ranks 26th in EPA per play this season and is allowing 31 points per game. The Raiders offense has been mediocre, but this is a perfect bounce-back spot. Expect a flurry of points to be scored in this matchup with both defenses struggling to start the season.
The Bears’ bring-back for this Raiders stack is wide receiver Rome Odunze. It is simply Rome, until it’s not. He continues to lead the Bears in receptions, targets, yards, and touchdowns with four. He has been Caleb Williams’ top target and has scored in every game this season. His salary is rising, but it is difficult to go away from the best Bears wide receiver at this moment.
Target these afternoon games in Week 4. There is no better feeling than being the chaser compared to being chased down in a DFS tournament. This afternoon slate will not disappoint.
