What Is Keep Your Million?
Keep Your Million is Underdog’s free-to-play survival game, and every eligible account gets a $1,000,000 virtual pot in bonus funds to start. No deposit needed. The catch is in the name: the million is yours to lose, and getting to the end with anything left is the whole game.
It runs over 20 questions, and each one works the same way:
- Pick a question: Something like whether Patrick Mahomes throws Higher or Lower than 275 passing yards.
- Split your pot: Drag the slider to divide your money between Higher and Lower. You can put 100% on one side, go 50/50, or anything in between. All of it has to go somewhere.
- Lock it in before kickoff: Once submitted, you can’t change the pick.
- Keep the winning side: Whatever you allocated to the correct answer survives. That becomes your pot for the next question.
- Run it back, up to 20 times: Hit zero, and you’re out. Survive all 20, and you cash out whatever’s left in Underdog bonus funds.
The strategy sits entirely in the slider. Going 100% on a side you’re confident about keeps the pot intact but risks everything on one projection. Splitting 70/30 guarantees you lose 30% but guarantees you survive the round. Twenty rounds of that compounds fast: hedging 80/20 every round and winning every round still leaves you under $12,000 by the end.
That’s the real tension in the format, and it’s why the hedge isn’t free. Existing users are eligible too, not just new accounts.

Where to Use Your Underdog Bonus Funds This Week
Week 1 opened midweek with the Patriots at the Seahawks on Wednesday, September 9, and the 49ers against the Rams in Melbourne on Thursday, September 10. The bulk of it is still ahead. Sunday, September 13 carries 13 games across the 1 p.m. and 4:25 p.m. ET windows, with Cowboys at Giants in prime time at 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC. Broncos at Chiefs closes the week on Monday, September 14 at 8:15 p.m. ET on ESPN.
Sunday is where the deepest player pool sits, so there’s no reason to force a card around Saturday’s board.
If NFL Pick’em or Champions projections are available where you are, check the current PickLabs numbers against the live Underdog board before you submit. Sunday gives you the deepest NFL player pool of the week, so there’s little reason to force a card around the first projection you see Wednesday morning. Also, keep in mind Underdog’s available game types can vary by location.
MLB is best when the NFL goes quiet Friday and Saturday. Reds-Brewers and Padres-Giants are on Apple TV Friday, while Mets-Yankees is scheduled for 1:35 p.m. ET on MLB Network Saturday. Baseball then keeps rolling daily, including Padres-Giants on Peacock Sunday and Braves-Cubs on MLB Network Monday and TBS Tuesday. That gives you another live player pool to check instead of reaching for an NFL entry just because you have Bonus Funds sitting in the app.

Underdog Game Types
What shows up in your Underdog lobby depends on your location.
Pick’em and Rivals
Pick’em lets you choose Higher or Lower on player-stat projections. Rivals uses two players in the same statistical category, sometimes with an adjustment added to one side. You may see Rivals projections within Pick’em-style products rather than as a completely separate part of the app.
Champions
Champions keeps the player-projection format but puts your entry into a peer-to-peer contest with other users. Correct selections earn Champions Points, and the final payout depends on your performance relative to the other winning entries in the pool.
Drafts and Best Ball
Draft contests use fantasy rosters rather than Higher/Lower projections. Best Ball requires no weekly lineup changes after the draft because Underdog automatically counts your highest-scoring eligible lineup. Other draft formats can include shorter contests and tournaments.
Games
Underdog’s Games tab now includes Streaks, Ladders, Swipe and Crash, among other formats. Streaks starts with two picks and can run to 11 correct picks in a row. Ladders uses three to five selections with three scoring rungs on each pick. Crash is a live MLB contest built around individual pitches and plate appearances.
Keep in mind some of these products are still rolling out, so you may not see every one in your account.
Prediction Picks
Prediction Picks. Prediction Picks uses event contracts traded on CFTC-regulated exchanges. Depending on the contract, the exchange may be Underdog’s UDX or another registered DCM accessed through Underdog Predict. These products follow different rules from Underdog’s fantasy contests, and in the eight Predictions-only states, the deposit match is 25% up to $250 rather than 50% up to $1,000.
Some products show potential returns of up to 5,000x, though the number shown on your entry depends on the format, selections and any applicable modifiers.
Where Is the Underdog Promo Code Available?
The
Eight states have Underdog’s Predictions product only: Connecticut, Hawaii, Idaho, Iowa, Louisiana, Maine, Montana, and Washington. Those get a 25% first deposit match up to $250 in bonus funds instead of the 50% version.
Underdog has no product in Nevada or New York.
Promo eligibility and game availability don’t always line up. Some states allow Drafts or Champions while limiting other formats, and Underdog checks your physical location every time you enter a paid contest.
Age minimums apply platform-wide, not just to this offer. Across eligible states, the floor is 18, with three exceptions: 19 in Alabama and Nebraska, 19 in Colorado for some games, and 21 in Arizona, Massachusetts, and Virginia.
Underdog Deposit and Withdrawal Options
Underdog accepts credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Trustly, PayPal and Venmo for fantasy deposits. Google Pay is also being rolled out for Android users. The platform minimum deposit is $10.
Withdrawal options can include Visa or Mastercard debit cards, PayPal, Venmo, Trustly online banking and Apple Pay tied to an eligible Visa debit card. Debit card, PayPal, Venmo and Apple Pay withdrawals usually require you to have deposited with that method first. Trustly doesn’t require a previous Trustly deposit.
The minimum withdrawal is $10 unless your remaining account balance is below $10, in which case you can withdraw the balance that remains.
Underdog says withdrawal requests normally go through a 48-to-72-hour processing window. Depending on the method, your bank can add another one to three business days after that. Remember weekends, holidays and additional account checks can stretch the calendar, so a Friday request doesn’t always move at the same pace as one placed on a Tuesday.
Underdog App Review
Underdog keeps fantasy contests, drafts, Games and Prediction Picks in one app, so you don’t need to switch between different platforms. The products don’t all share the same balance, though. Prediction Picks placed through Underdog Predict use a separate futures account from your Underdog Fantasy funds, although you can transfer money between the two when authorized.
The entry builder adds player lines as you go and updates the potential payout before you submit, which makes it easier to compare lots of projections in the same stat category and see how each pick changes the entry.
Best Ball is a good fit if you enjoy drafting a team but don’t want to spend every Sunday adjusting your lineup.
The main learning curve comes from the fact that Pick’em, Champions, Drafts, Games and Prediction Picks all follow different rules. Check which product you’re using before submitting an entry, especially when you’re playing with promotional credit. Just because you have a Bonus Entry in your account doesn’t mean it can be used on every option in the lobby.

My Experience With Underdog
A $20 Apple Pay deposit was usable instantly, with no hold before I could enter a contest, though I’ve had this account for years, so I can’t speak to first-time verification timing.
On August 27 I built a four-pick Standard card for $5 at 10x, all MLB strikeout props: Gerrit Cole over 5.5, Jacob Misiorowski over 8.5, Chris Sale over 6.5, Yoshinobu Yamamoto over 6.5. Sale and Yamamoto cleared comfortably at 11 and 8. Cole finished on 5, Misiorowski on 6. Two from four, which on a Standard entry pays exactly the same as zero from four.
That’s worth understanding before you reach for Flex. A four-pick Flex pays on 3-of-4, not 2-of-4, and building all four legs from one volatile stat is the shape most likely to land you at two, the one place Flex offers nothing.
Withdrawals have been the most reliable part. A $25 request submitted at 7am on August 19 landed roughly 36 hours later, inside Underdog’s stated 48-to-72-hour window, with no verification hold or payment review.
Is Underdog Legit?
Underdog launched in 2020 and has become one of the better-known fantasy sports platforms in the U.S. On July 30, 2026, London-listed IG Group agreed to acquire the company for up to roughly $1.3 billion, about $1.1 billion in upfront enterprise value plus an earnout tied to 2026 performance.
The deal is expected to close in late 2026 or early 2027, pending regulatory and antitrust approval, so Underdog continues operating independently in the meantime.
It runs state-regulated fantasy contests and, since July 18, 2026, its own CFTC-licensed exchange for prediction markets, Underdog holds the DCM, DCO, and FCM registrations needed to list and clear contracts in-house.
What you can access depends on where you live, and each product comes with its own rules and disclosures.
Underdog Promos for Existing Users
Start with Keep Your Million. Most existing accounts are eligible for the $1,000,000 pot, not just new signups, and it costs nothing to enter. Check the Promos tab to see whether yours has it.
Beyond that, promotions rotate often and aren’t identical for everyone. Expect discounted projections, boosted payouts, protected entries, and small bonus credits.
The deposit match is first-deposit only, so if you’ve already funded the account, it doesn’t apply to you.
