Lamar Jackson is as expensive as any player that we’ve seen in the single-game format this season. He’s priced at $13,700 on DraftKings – making him $20,700 in the Captain spot – and $17,500 on FanDuel.

Should you consider fading him at such a massive price tag? I wouldn’t. Jackson is arguably the best player in fantasy at the moment. Jackson remains extremely dangerous with his legs, leading the league with an average of 6.2 yards per carry. He’s also seen plenty of attempts, resulting in an average of 75.0 yards per game. His rushing touchdowns are down a bit, but he’s basically duplicating his rushing yards from his 2019 MVP season.

Jackson has also taken strides forward as a passer this season. He’s averaged 276.1 passing yards through his first eight games, which puts him on track to shatter his previous career-high (208.5). Jackson is throwing the ball more this season, and his attempts are typically traveling well down the field. He leads the league with an average of 10.4 intended air yards per throw, and he also leads the league with an average of 12.8 yards per completion.
