Week 4 NFL DFS Value Plays: Target the Giants’ Offense

Our NFL product at FantasyLabs is powered by our Models, which feature projections from Sean Koerner. He’s been FantasyPros’ most accurate in-season ranker in three of the past four seasons, which makes our Models a must-have for the serious DFS player.

One of the best ways to incorporate his projections is by looking at each player’s Projected Plus/Minus on both DraftKings and FanDuel. Projected Plus/Minus is a proprietary metric that measures projected points vs. expected points. The higher the number, the better that player is expected to perform relative to his price tag.

If you wind up rostering players who finish the week with a good Plus/Minus, there’s a good chance you’re going to find yourself at the top of the leaderboards.

Here are six players who are popping in our NFL Models for Week 4.

Quarterback

Daniel Jones ($5,300 on DraftKings) vs. Washington Redskins

The Giants figure to be a popular source of value in Week 4, and Jones is a big reason why. He was tremendous in his first NFL start, throwing for 336 yards and two TDs while chipping in 28 yards and two TDs on the ground. Overall, it resulted in 39.24 DraftKings points, which was the second-highest score among quarterbacks. Not bad for a guy who was largely ridiculed after the Giants selected him at No. 6 during the draft.

He likely won’t put up that kind of performance this week vs. the Redskins, but it is a great matchup. Jones owns an Opponent Plus/Minus of +5.6 on DraftKings, which ranks fourth on the DraftKings’ main slate. Jones is also a home favorite, and QBs with comparable salaries and Vegas data have historically averaged a Plus/Minus of +1.39 (per the Trends tool).

If all else fails, Jones should be able to rely on his rushing ability. QBs who can provide some fantasy value with their legs have historically been excellent investments, and Jones is one of the better athletes at the position:

He’s a particularly strong option on DraftKings given his Bargain Rating of 96%.
