CS:GO DFS Projections for Monday, April 13: Look to Gen.G for Value

With no FanDuel slate on Monday, it will be all eyes on DraftKings for today’s slate, consisting of two matches: HAVU vs. Gen.G and Cloud9 vs. Orgless.

Cloud9 is the largest favorite on the slate, currently listed at -200 at the time of writing. Accordingly, three members of Cloud9 are priced among the five most expensive salaries, which will make it necessary to find value if you want to stack Cloud9.

  • On a larger slate, I might not have any exposure at all to oSee given his expensive $8,200 salary and good-not-great projection of 75.2 fantasy points. But on a two-game slate with limited options, oSee is making it into most optimals at the captain slot. oSee’s 22.5% share of team kills ranks tops on the slate, while his death and assist rates are both slightly above average.
  • The top two values both come from Gen.G, which is listed at +100 against HAVU. BnTeT and autimatic are both priced below $7,000 while ranking No. 6 and No. 7 on the slate in raw projected points. Gen.G’s team kills have been fairly evenly distributed with four of its five members posting kill shares between 20.2% and 21.5%. While pairing the cheap Gen.G value with the expensive Cloud9 stars will likely be the chalk roster build, there are ways for things to go south with this build due to Gen.G’s 50/50 win odds and evenly distributed kill numbers.
  • ZOREE is also worth mentioning due to his 100+ point fantasy upside. Between March 31 and April 10, ZOREE went on a three-game tear, exceeding 100 DraftKings points in each game, while posting an eye-popping 130:66 kill:death ratio. ZOREE came back to earth in HAVU’s most recent matchup against MIBR, but he remains as good a bet as any to post the highest fantasy score on today’s slate.
