Week 7 NFL DFS Stacks and Picks

Brock Purdy + Christian McCaffrey + George Kittle + Bijan Robinson

  • Brock Purdy ($6,600 DraftKings, $8,500 FanDuel)
  • Christian McCaffrey ($7,600 DraftKings, $8,700 FanDuel)
  • George Kittle ($5,700 DraftKings, $6,500 FanDuel)
  • Bijan Robinson ($8,500 DraftKings, $9,400 FanDuel)

Currently one of three undefeated teams left in the league, the San Francisco 49ers are 2.5-point road favorites against the Atlanta Falcons. This game has a 49.5-point total, which is the second-highest on this 10-game slate. The 49ers have a fantastic opportunity to keep their perfect record this week.

The theme of this article throughout the year has been attacking spots where the team stack is expected to be heavily concentrated. That is exactly what we have again this week with the 49ers. Deebo Samuel is out, and Mike Evans has yet to practice this week after leaving the last game early. Expect a heavy dose of usage for Christian McCaffrey and George Kittle, who are the key pieces of this 49ers game stack.

Brock Purdy is currently leading in MVP voting on the DraftKings sportsbook. He is off to a hot start, throwing for 14 touchdowns to two interceptions. Purdy is on pace to average the most rushing yards and attempts of his career. He has 28+ rushing yards in five of his first six games with a run of at least 11 yards in each of those games. His dual-threat ability will likely be more on display with the injury situation.

Purdy is second in the league in fantasy points per game, and he is favorably priced on DraftKings. The Falcons rank first in rush defense EPA per play, making them a clear pass-funnel defense. Even if the 49ers are leading in this game, this Falcons defense will force him to throw. The Falcons have allowed 252 passing yards per game, which is the fifth-highest in the league. This is a great spot for Purdy to air it out.

Christian McCaffrey is one of the best dual-threat running backs of all time. He has yet to have a receiving touchdown this year but is averaging over 30 receiving yards per game with a 21% target share. With all the injuries last week, McCaffrey was peppered with 10 targets, catching nine of them for 53 yards. He may not find a ton of success on the ground, but McCaffrey can provide fantasy upside through the air.

Even though McCaffrey is so versatile catching the ball, do not sleep on his rushing ability. He has scored at least one rushing touchdown in each of his last five games with seven total touchdowns during that time. He has yet to top 75 yards on the ground but has captured 92% of the 49ers’ rushing attempts inside the 5-yard line. McCaffrey also leads all players with a 37.1% optimal lineup rate in our NFL Sims.

After running around 50% of routes in the first two weeks, George Kittle has had a 26% target share in the last four weeks. During that stretch, he is averaging over 17 DraftKings points per game. Kittle already has five receiving touchdowns this year and has scored in four of his last five games. He had a 29% target share last game, and that will likely be where he is this week. Kittle is a phenomenal option this week.

Kittle’s ceiling is not far from Brock Bowers’ and Trey McBride’s, and he is basically $2,000 cheaper. Given that large pricing discrepancy, Kittle is currently drawing the highest projected ownership at the tight end position at nearly 20%. Both McCaffrey and Kittle lead their respective positions in projected Plus/Minus on this slate. This 49ers team stack has incredible upside with the lack of wide receiver options this week.

There are two main players from the Falcons who can push this 49ers stack to greater heights. Those would be Bijan Robinson and Drake London. Both players had disappointing performances last week but are vital parts of the Falcons’ success. Robinson is the more intriguing option at his cheapest salary since Week 2. He is second in rushing yards while averaging a career-high 5.8 rushing yards per attempt.

Robinson may be squeezed when it comes to ownership at the running back position, with many people paying up for Jahmyr Gibbs or paying down for value. Even against the 49ers’ top-10 defense, Robinson can provide fantasy upside both on the ground and through the air. Getting the talent of Robinson at 10% projected ownership is incredibly intriguing. He is a strong contrarian pay-up option.

This full game stack is expensive, but more value plays are starting to open up throughout the week. Keep an eye on our news page for all the latest updates on who is playing this week. Prioritize this inclusive 49ers team stack first and foremost. If Robinson or London does not fit, play the 49ers without a bring-back.

Jordan Love + Matthew Golden + Tucker Kraft + Jahmyr Gibbs

  • Jordan Love ($6,000 DraftKings, $7,600 FanDuel)
  • Matthew Golden ($6,000 DraftKings, $6,700 FanDuel)
  • Tucker Kraft ($4,700 DraftKings, $5,500 FanDuel)
  • Jahmyr Gibbs ($9,800 DraftKings, $9,800 FanDuel)

The only game with a total above 50 points this week is an NFC North clash between the Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers. The Lions are three-point home favorites in a game with a 53.5-point total. The Lions and Packers rank in the top seven in seconds per play, making this a high-paced environment.

The Packers are getting Josh Jacobs back from his six-game suspension this week, but his workload is unknown. However, anything will help the Packers, who have by far the worst rushing attack, averaging a league-low 56.8 rushing yards per game. More pressure has been put on Jordan Love, who ranks third in the league in passing yards. Love is on pace for the most passing yards and touchdowns in his career.

Love torched the Lions in their two victories last season with six passing touchdowns, no interceptions, and a passer rating of 128.8. The Lions currently rank dead last in EPA per play, making this an elite matchup for the Packers’ quarterback. Love is priced in the mid-range of the quarterback options and is playing in the highest-total game of the week, so expect him to come with plenty of ownership. Still, this is a great spot.

Coming off a poor rookie season, Packers wide receiver Matthew Golden is arguably the most improved player in the league. Golden has topped 100+ receiving yards in three of his last four games, with four touchdowns during that time. His target share has catapulted from 11% to a team-high 26% this year. He has three games with 12+ targets, including last week against the Cowboys with a career high of 13.

Fellow wide receiver Christian Watson has shown a slightly higher ceiling but has inconsistent fantasy production and is $1,000 more expensive on DraftKings. On a slate that has tight pricing, Golden is the significantly better option to pair with Love this week. Golden has recorded 23+ DraftKings points in back-to-back weeks and will have plenty of opportunity to make it three straight in this superb matchup.

Instead of adding Watson at his elevated price tag, consider tight end Tucker Kraft, who is slowly starting to look more like himself. In the last three weeks, Kraft has a 20% target share and is averaging 47.7 receiving yards per game with at least five receptions in each of those contests. He only has one receiving touchdown thus far, but everything for him is trending up. Kraft is a strong stacking partner with Jordan Love in this spot.

The separator for Kraft in this spot is the Lions’ ineptitude at guarding the tight end position. They are allowing opposing tight ends to average 26.8 fantasy points per game. The next closest team is the Commanders, allowing 18.4 per game. Kraft has scored a receiving touchdown in three of his five career games against the Lions. Kraft is too cheap for his fantasy expectation this week.

Death, taxes, and Jahmyr Gibbs. After recording his second game with 40+ DraftKings points in the last three weeks, Gibbs continues to be the best option every single week. He has scored a league-high nine total touchdowns through five weeks and is coming off a game where he had 207 all-purpose yards. His salary continues to rise, but it simply doesn’t matter. Make Gibbs a focal point in lineups at his $9,800 price tag.

The Packers’ defense has been stout against the pass, ranking third in EPA per play. However, they rank 22nd in rush defense EPA per play, making them a run-funnel defense. Previously mentioned superstar running back Bijan Robinson torched the Packers with 197 rushing yards and two touchdowns. Gibbs could easily match Robinson’s production in this showdown with the Lions coming off a bye week.

The Lions do have several other intriguing options like Amon-Ra St. Brown, Jameson Williams, and Sam LaPorta, but it is impossible to not make Gibbs a priority. The Packers are the cheaper and better offense to stack, but regardless, expect a ton of points in this NFC North game with two high-powered offenses.
