Week 2 NFL DFS Stacks and Picks
Caleb Williams + Luther Burden III + Colston Loveland + Justin Jefferson

The Chicago Bears are going to be a primary stacking team to target this entire season. They scored 59 points against the Carolina Panthers last week, recording at least 14 points in every single quarter. Their 59 points were the fourth most in franchise history and their highest total since a 61-point performance in 1980.
Caleb Williams picked up right where he left off last season with a slate-high 37.3 DraftKings points. He threw for 269 yards and two touchdowns while adding 10 rushes for 65 yards and two touchdowns on the ground. Not only did Williams put on a show, but the Bears’ backfield absolutely dominated. D’Andre Swift and Kyle Monangai each had 100+ rushing yards and combined for four touchdowns.
Instead of taking the Bears’ rushing game, attack the Vikings’ blitz-heavy defense with Williams and two of his favorite weapons. In Week 1, the Vikings blitzed an absurd 82.1% of the time against the Packers. It paid off, as they won the game 39-22 and recorded four sacks, but they also allowed 387 passing yards and two touchdowns. The Vikings likely won’t blitz that much this week, but they will still send plenty of pressure.
Going into Year 3, Williams has already shown elite scrambling ability. He had a league-high 18% scramble rate on his 38 dropbacks in Week 1. The Bears are 4.5-point home favorites, implied for 26.25 points, the fourth-highest total on the slate. I’m all in on the Bears being the highest-scoring offense this year.
Week 1 is usually wonky, and that was the situation for the Bears. Wide receiver Kalif Raymond led the Bears with a 35% target share and had eight catches for 84 yards. Luther Burden III wasn’t far behind, catching all five of his targets for 65 yards. He had a team-high 71% route rate and has separated from Rome Odunze as the top wide receiver on the team. He is poised for a big week, and $5,700 is too cheap.
Wide receivers Christian Watson and Matthew Golden torched the Vikings’ secondary last week with a combined 242 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Burden is a strong ceiling-score candidate this week.
Bears tight end Colston Loveland can’t have a worse fantasy performance than last week. He had only two targets. A bounceback is in store for Loveland, who ended last year with four straight double-digit target games. During that time, he averaged 94.5 receiving yards and 20.2 DraftKings points per game.
This may be the cheapest that Loveland will be all season. His salary dipped $300 on DraftKings, and he has the second-highest projected ceiling at the tight end position this week. Pairing Loveland and Burden is the best way to approach the potential shootout at Soldier Field. This offense is lethal versus anyone.
Vikings star wide receiver Justin Jefferson is the obvious bringback in this Bears stack. Jefferson erupted in Week 1 with eight receptions for 92 yards and two touchdowns. He had a 41% target share, which was the second-highest in the league last week. His quarterback may change from Carson Wentz back to Kyler Murray, but that shouldn’t matter. Jefferson is an elite pay-up option at the wide receiver position.
Not only is the Bears offense a unit to target this season, but their defense will be a priority target, too. The Bears allowed 361.8 total yards per game last season, which was the fourth-highest mark in the league. They haven’t improved their defense, especially their pass rush, so they should be in consistent shootouts.
Dak Prescott + Javonte Williams + CeeDee Lamb + George Pickens

After a disappointing Week 1 divisional loss, the Dallas Cowboys have a fantastic bounceback opportunity against another divisional foe this week. They are four-point home favorites against the Commanders, implied for 27.5 points. This is an elite matchup for the Cowboys’ offense to get back on track this week.
It is an expensive stack, but the ideal way to attack this NFC East showdown is to build an onslaught with the Cowboys’ offense. The Commanders ranked 31st in EPA per play defensively last season while allowing a league-high 384 yards per game. In their two matchups last year, the Cowboys averaged 37 points per game. Quarterback Dak Prescott lit up this defense with five touchdowns and 285.5 yards per game.
Prescott leads all quarterbacks with the highest optimal lineup rate in our NFL Sims. He did throw two touchdowns last week but only mustered 175 passing yards. Prescott was third in the league last year in passing yards per game and threw 30 touchdowns. Despite a tough Week 1, this is a great spot for him.
Running back Javonte Williams is going to continue to receive a heavy workload with a weak supporting cast behind him. Even in a bad game script last week, he played 73% of the snaps and had five receptions for 31 yards and a touchdown. He also ran one in, accumulating a team-high 24.2 DraftKings points.
Williams has a phenomenal role in this Cowboys’ offense and has the third-highest projected Plus/Minus at the running back position this week. He is a true three-down back, which is difficult to find these days. Williams posted a career-high 13 touchdowns last season, and he is well on his way to another big year.
CeeDee Lamb caught five of his eight targets last week with a touchdown. He is coming off five straight years with over 1,000 receiving yards despite missing three games due to injury. Lamb posted 110 yards and a touchdown in their first meeting last year, and it wouldn’t be surprising if he did the same this week.
Lamb ranks third on this 13-game slate in optimal lineup rate among wide receivers. He and Williams are both projected to draw around 15% ownership, but pairing them together will be unique. When he is healthy, Lamb is Prescott’s top target. He had a team-high 100% end-zone target share in Week 1.
George Pickens is an additional piece worth adding to this Cowboys onslaught. He is a boom-or-bust option who struggled with drops in Week 1. In his first season with the Cowboys last year, Pickens recorded career highs across the board, with 93 receptions for 1,429 yards and nine touchdowns.
With the ownership flooding to Williams and Lamb, Pickens will be overlooked. He is the cheapest among the trio on DraftKings and still has a ceiling worth targeting. Despite playing alongside a healthy Lamb, Pickens will still get his fair share of targets. Pairing all the Cowboys’ studs is the best approach for this game.
The Cowboys ranked second in pace last season with 28 seconds per play and were just outside the top five in EPA per play on offense. They averaged 26.9 seconds per play in Week 1, so expect a high-powered, fast-paced offense. This offense is concentrated around Williams, Lamb, and Pickens, which gives this stack incredible upside. Load up on the Cowboys in this amazing matchup against the Commanders.
