Young Guns: Ludvig Aberg (52%) vs. Cameron Young (48%)
Both of these golfers have multiple top-10 finishes at the Masters. Cameron Young went back-to-back top-10s in 2023 and 2024. Conversely, Aberg is coming off of two straight top-10 finishes. Aberg is entering Augusta red-hot, coming off of 3 straight top-5 finishes. Cameron Young’s last start resulted in a win at the Players, and he has yet to return to competition.
Old Heads: Fred Couples (54%) vs. Angel Cabrera (46%)
Both of these golfers are currently playing on the Champions Tour. Cabrera has played in 4 events, with his best finish coming at the Mitsubishi Electric Championship where he came in second. Cabrera has failed to make a cut at Augusta since 2016. Couples has missed the last 2 cuts at the Masters, although he did make the cut in 2023.
LIV Clash: Jon Rahm (57%) vs. Bryson DeChambeau (43%)
Jon Rahm has dominated the LIV Tour this season, finishing in the top-5 in every single event including a win at LIV Hong Kong. Rahm is a former winner of the Masters, and has multiple top-10s in the major. Bryson has won the last two LIV events, LIV South Africa and LIV Singapore. He is also coming off of back-to-back top-10s at Augusta.
World #1 vs. World #2: Scottie Scheffler (63%) vs. Rory McIlroy (37%)
Scottie Scheffler has been having a “down year” if you used his past as reference. This includes two top-5 finishes, no finishes worse than 24th, and a win at the American Express. Scottie has never had a finish worse than 19th at the Masters, rationalizing his large lead in odds vs. Rory. McIlroy is the defending champion at the Masters, although he is coming off of a T46 at The Players and a WD at the Arnold Palmer Invitational.
