Week 6 NFL DFS Stacks and Picks

Dak Prescott + George Pickens + Jake Ferguson + Rico Dowdle

  • Dak Prescott ($6,500 DraftKings, $8,000 FanDuel)
  • George Pickens ($6,800 DraftKings, $7,500 FanDuel)
  • Jake Ferguson ($5,300 DraftKings, $7,000 FanDuel)
  • Rico Dowdle ($5,800 DraftKings, $6,600 FanDuel)

The best game environment to target on this 10-game main slate is this NFC meeting between the Dallas Cowboys and Carolina Panthers. The Cowboys are three-point road favorites and this game has the highest total on the slate at 49.5 points. Expect a flurry of points at Bank of America Stadium this week.

Despite not having star wide receiver CeeDee Lamb, quarterback Dak Prescott has thrown for a combined 556 yards and seven touchdowns with no interceptions in his last two games. He even added one rushing touchdown. Prescott has averaged over 30 DraftKings points per game in his last two contests and now draws a juicy matchup against the Panthers’ mediocre defense.

The Cowboys offense ranks third in EPA per play, while Prescott has already thrown for 10 touchdowns and 1,356 passing yards, which is the second-highest in the league. He has 41.6 dropbacks per game, which ranks fourth in the league, proving how much this offense relies on his arm. Prescott also ranks second in optimal lineup rate in our NFL Sims this week. In the highest total game of the week, Prescott will arguably be the best quarterback option on both DraftKings and FanDuel in all lineup builds.

Lamb has yet to practice this week, so it will likely be George Pickens yet again leading the wide receiver crew. Since Lamb’s injury in Week 3, Pickens has had a 22% target share and has four touchdowns in that span of three games. Pickens has the second-most receiving touchdowns in the league and leads the Cowboys in touchdowns and receiving yards through five weeks.

Pickens at $6,800 on DraftKings has the third-highest optimal lineup rate at the wide receiver position. He will be a popular option to pair with Prescott, but he is impossible to ignore in this high-total matchup.

Even though Pickens has been incredible, it has been tight end Jake Ferguson who has been peppered by Prescott with a team-high 28% target share over the last three weeks. Ferguson leads all tight ends in DraftKings points per game and is tied for first among starters in targets per route run at 31%. His salary has continued to climb every week, but without Lamb, Ferguson remains a priority in this offense.

Ferguson ranks second on this slate in optimal lineup rate at the tight end position behind Trey McBride. The $200 difference on DraftKings may result in cheaper ownership for Ferguson, which makes him even more enticing. Ferguson leads all tight ends in receptions and is second in the league only to Puka Nacua, which is not a surprise at all given the season he has had.

The Panthers have two viable bring-backs to this Cowboys stack: Rico Dowdle and Tetairoa McMillan. The Cowboys have the worst defense in the league. They rank last in EPA per play defensively and are allowing a league-high 412 yards and over 30 points per game.

McMillan leads the Panthers in every receiving statistic and is still reasonably priced. However, given the game that Rowdle had last week and the fact that starting running back Chuba Hubbard has yet to practice this week, this is an easy choice. Dowdle ran for 206 yards against the Dolphins last week with one rushing touchdown. He even contributed through the air with three receptions for 26 yards.

At $5,800 on DraftKings, Dowdle leads the running back position by a wide margin in optimal lineup rate. He is a cash-game core piece and simply too cheap to ignore in tournaments. Dowdle will likely lead the slate in ownership, and he should feast on this weak Cowboys defense.

The Cowboys passing attack is concentrated right now between Pickens and Ferguson, making this one of the best game stacks in Week 6. Dowdle is the best running back on the slate. This may be popular, but the ceiling is outrageous in this matchup that has a near 50-point total.

Jordan Love + Josh Jacobs + Tucker Kraft + Ja’Marr Chase

  • Jordan Love ($6,200 DraftKings, $8,300 FanDuel)
  • Josh Jacobs ($7,300 DraftKings, $8,700 FanDuel)
  • Tucker Kraft ($4,700 DraftKings, $6,700 FanDuel)
  • Ja’Marr Chase ($7,700 DraftKings, $8,800 FanDuel)

Coming off the early bye week, the Green Bay Packers are 14-point home favorites against the Cincinnati Bengals, implied for a slate-high 29.25 points. The Packers dominated both of their home matchups against the Lions and Commanders and are heavy favorites to keep their home win streak alive.

The Packers offense has looked incredible outside of a very difficult matchup on the road against the Browns. They rank fourth in the league in EPA per play and have scored 27+ points in three of their first four games. Expect another strong offensive performance from Jordan Love in this spot.

Through four weeks, Love has set career highs in completion percentage with 69% and yards per attempt at 8.3. He has thrown eight touchdowns to only one interception and should carve up this Bengals defense that ranks 27th in EPA per play. This defense is allowing 31.2 points and 391.2 yards per game, both of which rank third-worst in the league. The Packers offense will fill it up this week.

In his second year with the Packers, Josh Jacobs has yet to have a 100-yard rushing game this season but has hit paydirt four times in four games. He has been very effective in the passing game with 13 targets in his last two games and is the clear bell-cow running back for this Packers offense. If the Packers are scoring 30+ points this week, Jacobs will have a ton of opportunities for a big fantasy day.

The Packers wide receiver room is led by Romeo Doubs, but there are plenty of wide receivers who can contribute, making it difficult to get exposure to Doubs. Love enjoys spreading the ball around but seems to prioritize tight end Tucker Kraft the most. Kraft leads the Packers in receptions, targets, and receiving yards. He is the perfect pairing with Love and Jacobs in this Packers offensive stack.

Kraft is the sixth-best tight end in fantasy points per game this season with two touchdowns. He is well on his way to breaking his career high in every receiving category. Kraft ranks fourth in optimal lineup rate at the tight end position at 17.5%. This is a great spot for another Kraft ceiling game.

The Jake Browning experience for the Bengals did not last long this season, with the Bengals losing each of their last three games and only generating 12.3 points per game during that time. They decided to bring in veteran Joe Flacco, who has already been given the green light to start this week. Flacco did beat the Packers in Week 3 before getting benched after the Week 4 game, where he threw for a pedestrian 184 yards with no touchdowns and two interceptions.

It remains to be seen if Flacco is that much of an upgrade over Browning, but one thing for certain is that Ja’Marr Chase is one of the best wide receivers in the game and will be heavily targeted regardless of who is throwing him the ball. Chase has a team-high 29% target share this season and is coming off an eight-reception day for 110 yards and two touchdowns. He leads the Bengals in all receiving categories.

The Packers defense in Week 4 gave up 40 points and 436 total yards to the Cowboys, who were playing without CeeDee Lamb. Wide receiver #1 George Pickens had eight receptions for 134 yards and two touchdowns in that showdown, which has to be exciting news for Chase in this matchup.

Maybe the Packers fixed their defensive concerns during the bye week, but even though they are heavy favorites this week, Chase can still get there. The Bengals lost 37-24 last week and Chase still produced a ceiling game. This game stack has plenty of upside to turn into a shootout.
