Week 6 NFL DFS Stacks and Picks
Matthew Stafford + Kyren Williams + Puka Nacua + Trey McBride
- Matthew Stafford ($6,400 DraftKings, $7,800 FanDuel)
- Kyren Williams ($6,800 DraftKings, $8,100 FanDuel)
- Puka Nacua ($8,100 DraftKings, $9,000 FanDuel)
- Trey McBride ($7,200 DraftKings, $7,400 FanDuel)
Unlike last week, there are a few games on the Week 6 DFS Main Slate with totals over 50 points. One of those games is this NFC West showdown between the Los Angeles Rams and Arizona Cardinals. These two teams are separated by one game in the standings, but the Rams are heavy 12.5-point home favorites. Looking to bounce back from last week’s loss, the Rams are implied for a slate-high 32 points.
After the first two weeks, the Rams offense is putting everything on Matthew Stafford’s shoulders. Over the last three weeks, Stafford has been attempting an absurd 53.3 passes per game, which is by far the highest rate in the league. Even with a poor 155-yard passing performance in Week 1 in Australia, Stafford leads the league with 1,572 passing yards. He is the fifth-most expensive quarterback on the slate and an incredible value play.
Looking to get to a .500 record, the Rams and Stafford are greeted with a phenomenal home matchup. The Cardinals are allowing opposing quarterbacks to post a 117.3 rating and have allowed an average of 37 points per game in their last four contests. Stafford is drawing over 20% projected ownership, which is a ton at the quarterback position, but it is impossible to ignore him on this slate with such a great matchup.
Even with Stafford throwing an egregious amount recently, running back Kyren Williams is still heavily involved in the offense. He has averaged 7.3 receptions and nearly 10 targets per game over the last three weeks and maintains a 72% rush rate. Backup running back Blake Corum has become an afterthought. Williams is a three-down back, and that role has helped him average 22.1 DraftKings points per game this year.
Williams has yet to top 100 rushing yards in a game, but his ability to be a dual-threat running back makes him a superb value at $6,800 on DraftKings. Similar to Stafford, Williams is drawing over 20% projected ownership. The Cardinals’ rush defense just gave up 151 rushing yards and two touchdowns to Jahmyr Gibbs. Williams is nowhere near the level of Gibbs, but this defense can be torched at all levels.
Arguably the best wide receiver in the league, Puka Nacua has a 29.9% optimal lineup rate in our NFL Sims. The next closest receiver is Garrett Wilson at 15.5%. Nacua is a near lock in cash games and an elite tournament play. Even at his elevated $8,100 price tag, Nacua has the highest projected Plus/Minus at the wide receiver position on the slate. He is coming off a career-high 17 receptions and 24 targets last week.
After missing Weeks 3 and 4, Nacua hasn’t missed a beat. In his last two games when healthy, Nacua is averaging 13 receptions on 18 targets with 131.5 receiving yards per game and two touchdowns. He is without a doubt the top option for Stafford. Nacua had 30.7 DraftKings points in Week 5 and 40.7 points last week. Even when not playing this Rams stack, make Nacua and/or Williams a priority this week.
A bring-back is not necessary for this high-ceiling Rams stack, but Trey McBride is always an option worth considering. McBride lucked out again last week with one of the best touchdown catches of the season. His touchdown reception on the last drive of the game got him to over 20 DraftKings points for the second time this year. He has 10 or more targets in all five games this season with a team-high 29% target share.
Adding McBride does make this an expensive game stack, but there is enough value on this 10-game slate to make it work. Brock Bowers is currently projected for double the ownership of McBride, making McBride a contrarian pay-up option at the tight end position. Cardinals quarterback Jacoby Brissett ranks in the top five in passing attempts per game. Likely playing from behind, they’ll need to pepper McBride.

Jameis Winston + Malik Nabers + Isaiah Likely + Chris Olave
- Jameis Winston ($5,100 DraftKings, $7,000 FanDuel)
- Malik Nabers ($6,500 DraftKings, $7,800 FanDuel)
- Isaiah Likely ($4,800 DraftKings, $5,500 FanDuel)
- Chris Olave ($7,600 DraftKings, $8,200 FanDuel)
An intriguing game that will go under the radar is this NFC matchup between the New Orleans Saints and New York Giants. The Saints are 1.5-point road favorites, with the total landing at 45.5 points. The ideal scenario is for the Saints to take a lead and force the Giants to play from behind, giving us the Jameis Winston experience. The Saints continue to play at the fastest pace in the league with 26.3 seconds per play.
Even with the threat of backup quarterback JJ McCarthy, Winston has a 2-0-1 record in games that he has started since Jaxson Dart was injured. He has the Giants in first place in the NFC West with a solid chance at another victory this week. In back-to-back games, Winston has thrown three touchdowns and averaged 288 passing yards and 24.85 DraftKings points per game. That is great value at his cheap salary.
Despite a rainy game last week in Washington, Winston threw the ball 54 times and easily exceeded expectations at his $4,800 salary with 29.7 DraftKings points. Even with a slight price increase, Winston is still way too cheap in this spot. Across all four of their losses, the Saints have allowed an average of 33.5 points per game. With Winston leading the passing attack, the Giants have enough firepower to put up 30+ points in this positive matchup.
Malik Nabers has benefited greatly from the emergence of Winston. In the past two weeks, Nabers is averaging 8.5 receptions for 116.5 receptions per game, one touchdown, and 29.2 DraftKings points per game. On Winston’s 54 attempts last week, Nabers accounted for 20 targets and a season-high 36% target share. Priced in the mid-range at $6,500, Nabers has proven to have a massive ceiling worth targeting.
It took a little while for Nabers to get back to his rookie-season form after suffering a nasty knee injury last year. However, these past two weeks, Nabers has averaged a 95% route rate. In comparison, he only averaged a 77% route rate through the first three weeks. The Saints’ secondary has been susceptible to their opponents’ top receiving options. This is a great opportunity for a Nabers ceiling game.
Priced at $4,800 on DraftKings and $5,500 on FanDuel, Giants tight end Isaiah Likely is going to be one of the most popular punt plays on the slate. He is coming off one of the best games of his career last week. Likely caught 11 of his 13 targets for 94 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He accumulated 32.4 DraftKings points, and his price tag barely climbed. This week is a perfect spot to go right back to Likely.
Likely has the second-highest optimal lineup rate at the tight end position at 11.4%, behind only Brock Bowers. Speaking of Bowers, he torched the Saints secondary with 10 receptions for 116 receiving yards and a touchdown. The Saints have allowed the eighth-most fantasy points to opposing tight ends this season. Likely has a 30% target share with Winston under center. He is a great pairing partner for Winston.
Chris Olave is the perfect bring-back option for this Giants stack. The Saints have one of the worst rushing games in the league, averaging just 81.6 yards per game on the ground. That puts a lot of pressure on Tyler Shough and the Saints aerial attack. Despite having a 3-1-1 record, the Giants’ defense ranks 20th in EPA per play this season. The Saints need to attack this defense through the air with Olave leading the charge.
Facing a difficult Vikings defense last week, Olave failed to draw double-digit targets for the first time. In the other four games, Olave is averaging 8.8 receptions on 12 targets for 122.8 receiving yards per game. He has only hit paydirt once and yet is still averaging over 20 DraftKings points per game. Olave has the highest aDOT at 13.4 among the top 10 wide receivers in target share. He is having a fantastic season.
