Jared Goff + Jahmyr Gibbs + Amon-Ra St. Brown + Adonai Mitchell

- Jahmyr Gibbs ($8,800 DraftKings, $9,200 FanDuel)
- Amon-Ra St. Brown ($7,900 DraftKings, $9,000 FanDuel)

Looking to get back on track after a 10-point road loss to the Buffalo Bills on Thursday Night Football, the Detroit Lions enter this week with a few extra days of rest. They are nearly a touchdown favorite at home against the New York Jets, who are coming off an overtime loss to the Green Bay Packers. The Packers have looked terrible through three weeks. The Lions have a 27.25-point team total, the fifth-highest on the slate.
The Lions’ comeback fell short last week, but Jared Goff racked up a plethora of fantasy points in garbage time. He ended the game with 327 passing yards and four touchdowns, finishing with 32.8 DraftKings points. Goff continues to be strictly a pocket passer, but he is still priced favorably across the industry.
The Jets defense is off to an incredible start, allowing a league-low 197 yards per game. However, the Jets faced a struggling Titans offense led by Cam Ward, followed by a Packers team with a terrible offensive line and no rushing attack in a rainy game. The Jets also hold the NFL record for the most consecutive games without an interception at 19. They are off to a strong start, but this defense will be put to the test at Ford Field.
Jahmyr Gibbs has a league-high 90% rush rate while averaging an outstanding 30.4 DraftKings points per game. This week, Gibbs has a slate-high 28.8% optimal lineup rate in our NFL Sims. Once again, he is the best play on the slate. His usage is incredible, with no relevant backup. Gibbs is a weekly plug-and-play option.
Through the first two weeks, Gibbs is averaging 28 touches per game with a 26% target-per-route-run rate. He has scored three total touchdowns and is arguably one of the best dual-threat running backs in the league. His salary continues to rise, but Gibbs is still worth every penny. There are a few cheaper running backs who look solid, but Gibbs is seemingly in a class of his own. He makes this offense dynamic. Don’t overthink it.
Amon-Ra St. Brown is another high-volume player worth targeting in tournaments for this Lions stack. St. Brown has matched Gibbs’ fantasy output over the first two weeks. He is averaging 9.5 receptions and 104.5 receiving yards per game, with four touchdowns. His 37% target share is tied for the third-highest in the league. He is Goff’s top target and ranks second among wide receivers with a 14.3% optimal lineup rate.
Similar to Gibbs, St. Brown rarely comes off the field. He is playing 96% of the offensive snaps with a 39% air-yard share. The rest of the Lions’ wide receiver room has struggled, causing Goff to home in on St. Brown in many passing situations. He is targeting St. Brown on 56% of 3rd- and 4th-down plays, which also ranks third-highest in the league. St. Brown leads all wide receivers in projected Plus/Minus on DraftKings.
Garrett Wilson is the ideal Jets bring-back for this Lions stack, but pricing has to be considered. With an already expensive stack, Adonai Mitchell is simply way too cheap at $4,300 on DraftKings. Mitchell caught six of his 12 targets last week for 63 receiving yards. He has 60+ yards in back-to-back games and a 25% target share, which is tied with Wilson. Mitchell has a team-high 15.2 aDOT, making him a high-ceiling play.
The Lions defense ranks 28th in EPA per play, allowing 457.5 yards per game, the second-highest mark in the league. Their secondary is still dealing with injuries, making the Jets’ receiving corps a strong target this week in tournaments. Make sure to include Mitchell or another Jets playmaker in Lions stacks this week.

Lamar Jackson + Derrick Henry + Rashod Bateman + CeeDee Lamb
- Lamar Jackson ($7,500 DraftKings, $8,600 FanDuel)
- Derrick Henry ($7,700 DraftKings, $9,000 FanDuel)
- Rashod Bateman ($4,700 DraftKings, $5,600 FanDuel)
- CeeDee Lamb ($7,800 DraftKings, $8,600 FanDuel)
The Baltimore Ravens were outscored 15-0 in the fourth quarter last week, suffering their first loss of the season. They now have a get-right matchup against the Dallas Cowboys’ porous defense, with both teams traveling to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, for this Week 3 showdown. This heavyweight battle has a slate-high 52.5-point total. The Ravens are 3.5-point favorites with an implied total of 28 points. Expect a shootout across the pond.
By Lamar Jackson‘s standards, he is off to a relatively slow start. He has yet to deliver that slate-breaking performance, but this week presents a prime spot for the two-time NFL MVP. The Cowboys defense ranked dead last in EPA per play last season and ranks 30th to start this season. This is a unit that yields fantasy production. Its pass rush has struggled to generate pressure, and it has only two sacks this year.
Jackson will be able to pick and choose how he attacks the Cowboys defense. He may be without his top wide receiver, Zay Flowers, for the second straight week due to injury, which will limit his passing ceiling. However, Jackson is one of the best dual-threat quarterbacks in the league. This comes down to the matchup. The Cowboys allowed the most quarterback fantasy points last season and rank fourth-highest in that category this year.
Ravens running back Derrick Henry is not far below the previously mentioned Jahmyr Gibbs‘ ceiling. Through two weeks, Henry is tied for the league lead with four touchdowns and has 212 rushing yards. With Zay Flowers out last week, the Ravens even used Henry more in the passing game, as he caught all three of his targets for 19 yards. When stacking the Ravens offense in any given week, Henry is a priority option.
Henry is an absurd -255 to score this week on DraftKings Sportsbook and a respectable +205 to score two touchdowns. His salary continues to rise, but Henry’s fantasy production is inevitable. The focal point of the Ravens offense, especially near the goal line, is feeding the big dog. Henry has a 23% optimal lineup rate in our NFL Sims. Henry’s projected ownership is half of Gibbs’, making him an elite tournament play.
Keep an eye on the status of Zay Flowers. If he is ruled out, wide receiver Rashod Bateman becomes one of the best value plays on the slate. Priced at $4,700 on DraftKings and $5,600 on FanDuel, Bateman will be in consideration for cash games. Without Flowers last week, Bateman was peppered with a team-high nine targets. He caught seven of those nine targets for 88 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Playing in a potential shootout, Bateman will have ample opportunity to exceed his salary this week. There are a few other strong options in his price range, but none has a game environment like this one. If Flowers ($6,900) plays, he is overpriced. In that situation, I would be more inclined to play Mark Andrews at $4,400. Andrews is incredibly consistent and favorably priced across the industry.
The Cowboys have several great bring-back options, but CeeDee Lamb trumps everyone else. He caught eight of his nine targets last week for 153 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Lamb found the end zone in Week 1, and he is +110 to continue his scoring streak this week. He has a 27% target share and, most importantly, a 60% share of the end-zone targets. Quarterback Dak Prescott loves targeting Lamb in the red zone.
Lamb ranks third in optimal lineup rate at wide receiver and should find plenty of success against a Ravens secondary that just gave up 86 receiving yards and a touchdown to the Saints’ best wide receiver, Chris Olave. Lamb is the Cowboys’ top option for fantasy production when he is healthy. Playing in Brazil presents different challenges, but it is impossible not to trust the high point total in this contest.
