Let’s dive into this week’s slate!
CFB DFS Quarterback Picks
Diego Pavia (Vanderbilt Commodores): $9,200 DraftKings
This year’s Heisman Trophy race is analogous to the college football season in general. There is no clear frontrunner, with so much left to be determined over the final weeks of the campaign. Diego Pavia is one of those MVP candidates, and he’s projected as the premier fantasy quarterback on Saturday’s main slate.
Pavia has almost single-handedly rejuvenated the Vanderbilt Commodores’ football program. So far this season, he’s thrown for 2,440 yards and 21 touchdowns, while keeping Vandy in the CFP conversation. But as good as Pavia has looked throughout the campaign, he’s saved the best for last. Over the last couple of games, the senior has totaled 742 passing yards and six touchdowns, while throwing no fewer than 365 yards or three touchdowns in either one of those contests.
Moreover, there’s nothing the Kentucky Wildcats can do to slow him down. While they’ve salvaged their season with a trio of wins versus substandard opponents, the Wildcats have been exposed by top passing offenses all season. Kentucky gave up 396 passing yards to Tennessee in Week 9, with Georgia and Ole Miss also leveling the Wildcats’ secondary.
It feels weird to put Vanderbilt in the same category as Tennessee, Georgia, and Ole Miss, but that’s the current state of the Commodores’ football program. In their final home game of the season, we expect Pavia to lead the Commodores to a much-needed victory while keeping their playoff aspirations alive. Easily, Diego Pavia is the premier quarterback to target.
Noah Fifita (Arizona Wildcats): $6,400 DraftKings
There is no shortage of top quarterbacks available on Week 13’s main slate. Diego Pavia, Julian Sayin, and Arch Manning are just a few of the names drawing the most attention. However, Noah Fifita is undoubtedly the most underappreciated fantasy asset on the Saturday schedule.
There’s no explanation for Fifita’s diminished salary against the Baylor Bears. The Arizona Wildcats signal-caller has been incredibly efficient over his recent stretch, throwing nine touchdowns against zero interceptions over the last four weeks. Across that sample, Fifita has completed 69.8% of his passes 233.5 yards per game.

All of that without considering his rushing prowess, which will be a huge benefit against the Bears’ porous defensive front. Baylor has been hemorrhaging yards all season, giving up 393.3 total yards per game, a benchmark that has risen to 408.6 in conference action.
Arizona will trample the Bears on Saturday, and Noah Fifita will be leading the charge. It’s not reflected in his salary, but the dual-threat is among the leaders in the FantasyLabs median and ceiling projections. The sharpest DFS punters will look to Fifita to set their rosters apart.
CFB DFS Running Back Picks
Cam Edwards (UConn Huskies) $6,900 DraftKings
It’s been a transformative couple of seasons for the UConn Huskies. They wasted away as a forgotten program for many years, but Jim Mora has elevated the Huskies back into a top contender. Their evolution is substantiated by a reinvigorated ground game, led by junior running back Cam Edwards.
Since landing with UConn ahead of the 2022 campaign, Edwards has gradually increased his contributions. He totaled 618 yards on 123 carries as a redshirt freshman, jumping to 146 rushing attempts and 830 yards last season. Already in 2025, the Connecticut native has 1,031 rushing yards on 183 carries. Edwards is coming off a 165-yard effort last week against Air Force, representing the fourth time he’s rushed for at least 115 yards this season.
As proficient as he is on the ground, Edwards separates himself with his scoring prowess. He’s found paydirt in all but two of his outings this season, including three multi-score games. Altogether, Edwards exhibits the workload, game-changing skillset, and touchdown potential to alter the DFS landscape in Week 13.
There’s nothing the Florida Atlantic Owls can do to slow Edwards down. FAU ranks among the worst rush defenses in the league, getting torched for 199.6 rushing yards per game and 5.0 yards per rush attempt. As such, we’re expecting a season-best performance from Edwards, as he sustains his late-season surge and elite scoring ability.
Quintrevion Wisner (Texas Longhorns) $5,900 DraftKings
It’s been an up-and-down season for the Texas Longhorns. At times, they’ve looked like National Championship contenders, only to falter against lesser opponents. While their playoff aspirations were squashed in Week 12, we expect them to come out swinging against the defensively bankrupt Arkansas Razorbacks on Saturday.
Texas has emphasized its passing game this season, but to its own detriment. We continue to see better outcomes when there’s a more balanced attack, including increased involvement from Quintrevion Wisner. In games where the Longhorns’ running back earns at least 12 touches, Texas is 4-1. When he records fewer than 12 touches, they fall to 0-2. We’re predicting heavy involvement against a Razorbacks defense that consistently fails to contain opponents.
Arkansas has abandoned any semblance of defensive responsibility. Through 10 games, opponents are averaging 426.5 yards per game versus the Pigs, with 181.2 of those coming on the ground. More concerningly, five of their last seven opponents have gone off for at least 200 rushing yards, playing into Wisner’s presumed dominance at DKR-Texas Memorial Stadium.
The Longhorns need to employ a more balanced attack, and we’re expecting exactly that againt the Arkansas on Saturday. Quitrevion Wisner will be the focal point out of the backfield, and also serves as a competent pass-catching back. A more robust workload against an inferior defense should shoot Wisner up to the top of the fantasy charts.

CFB DFS Wide Receiver Picks
Skyler Bell (UConn Huskies) $7,400
We’re targeting another UConn Huskies stud as part of our Week 13 rosters. Skyler Bell has cemented his position as one of the top receivers in college football this season. His 93 receptions and 1,151 receiving yards rank first and second, respectively, in the FBS, while his 13 touchdowns are the highest output of any player in college football. Assuredly, Bell will add to those totals against FAU.
As good as he’s been throughout the campaign, we’ve seen a slight decrease in Bell’s proclivity over the last couple of weeks. While 157 yards and two touchdowns would be a success for most pass-catchers, that is a notable deviation from Bell’s usual output. The Huskies’ wideout had tallied 432 yards and five touchdowns across his three preceding games, recording no fewer than 125 yards in any one of those contests.
Naturally, that makes Bell an ideal progression candidate against the Owls. With 25 targets over the last two games, he has maintained his usual workload, albeit without the corresponding production. With 12 or more targets in eight of his 11 games this season, Bell can be counted on to rectify his diminished production in UConn’s final regular season game.
Florida Atlantic’s defensive woes aren’t limited to stopping the run. This is also a team that gives up close to 200 passing yards per game, a total that jumps to 476 over the last couple of outings. UConn will turn to Cam Edwards and Skyler Bell most frequently, making them a deadly fantasy combination on this week’s main slate.
Eric McAlister (TCU Horned Frogs) $7,500
The TCU Horned Frogs have fallen out of contention in the Big 12, but that isn’t due to a lack of offensive ability. TCU ranks as one of the top passing offenses in the country, a strength it will need to maintain against the 23rd-ranked Houston Cougars in Week 13. The Horned Frogs will go as far as Eric McAlister will carry them, and that could be to an upset win at TDECU Stadium.
McAlister has vaulted to the top of our projections with a late-season frenzy. Over the past few weeks, the Horned Frogs’ wide receiver has tallied 338 receiving yards on 24 receptions, eclipsing the century mark in all three of those contests. Additionally, he’s been the most targeted pass-catcher in the country, soaking an astounding 46 targets across the three-game sample.
As good as he’s been, we’re also anticipating a sharp increase in scoring from McAlister over the final weeks of the season. The senior has been held out of the end zone in three of his last four games, nabbing just one touchdown over that stretch. That diminished scoring output is contraindicated in his workload and target share, as he remains the go-to passing option in the red zone. That points to an inevitable increase in scoring and fantasy production when the Horned Frogs take on the Cougars on Saturday.
He may be one of the pricier wide receivers this weekend, but Eric McAlister is worth the investment. He has been the most targeted pass-catcher over the past few weeks and is a natural progression candidate to see an increase in scoring. Predictably, that vaults him to the top of our projections and makes him a must-roster pass-catcher.
Eli Stowers (Vanderbilt Commodores) $5,100
For the first time in a while, we’re highlighting a double-stack strategy. Complementing Skyler Bell and Cam Edwards with Diego Pavia and Eli Stowers could be the magical key to unlocking fantasy glory this weekend.
Pavia has done well to spread the ball across Vanderbilt’s offense; however, Eli Stowers remains the most productive pass-catcher. He leads the team with 665 yards and 50 receptions, while his 72 targets are 20 more than the next closest receiver. Further, the gap between Stowers and the rest of the Commodores is growing.
Over the last couple of games, Stowers has pulled down 19 of 27 targets for 168 yards and two touchdowns. That accounts for a mind-numbing 38.0% target share, which should continue to grow as Vandy fights to stay in the playoff picture.
Pavia is projected as the top quarterback on this week’s main slate, and his production relies heavily on Eli Stowers’ contributions in the passing game. Combined, they form one of the most competent fantasy duos and a winning combination for the Week 13 main slate.
