Action Network has introduced Playbook, an AI-powered bot designed to automate the process of turning social media picks into sports betting entries. The tool works by reading text or screenshots to generate preloaded betting slips at popular sportsbooks.
Available on X (formerly Twitter) and Discord, users tag @Playbook under a post with a pick in the form of a text or screenshot and receive a QuickSlip link in seconds. Once the QuickSlip is generated, users simply click it to open their sportsbook app and confirm the entry amount.
Playbook saves bettors from the repetitive task of manually building betslips, making it easier to follow expert projections and collaborate with X/Discord communities.
Playbook’s Launch Ahead of the 2025 NFL Season
Playbook works with major sportsbooks like FanDuel, DraftKings, BetMGM, Caesars, and bet365, giving bettors a fast way to act on multi-pick entries.
The timing is perfect: Playbook launches just ahead of the 2025 NFL regular season, letting users move quickly on early-season picks.
For instance, a tweet from a betting expert might suggest that you take the following picks on bet365:
- Patrick Mahomes – Over 315.5 passing yards
- Christian McCaffrey – Under 85.5 rushing yards
- Justin Jefferson – Over 0.5 TDs
Instead of switching between X and the bet365 app to enter these picks (and risk accidentally picking Over instead of Under, or vice versa), you can just reply with the tweet “@Playbook bet365”. Playbook will handle the rest by generating a QuickSlip link. Just click this link to go to the bet365 app and confirm your entry amount.
These picks demonstrate the type of sportsbook entries Playbook can convert into QuickSlips in seconds, allowing users to focus on strategy rather than manual entry.
And here is what the bets look like from an X feed, giving you the best price across all the supported books:

Reducing Friction for Bettors
Manual entry of same-game parlays or prop combinations has long been a tedious part of sports betting. Playbook eliminates that friction, streamlining execution while reducing the chance of mistakes.
Because the tool is free and can be used without limits, bettors can take full advantage throughout the season.
Social and Community Benefits
Beyond individual convenience, Playbook encourages social interaction. On X, users can tag the bot under another player’s pick to generate the same entry instantly. In Discord, groups can share QuickSlips and collaborate on multi-pick plays, deepening the sense of community around prop betting.
Playbook Looks Ahead at DFS Apps
While Playbook is only compatible with traditional sportsbooks at the moment, it has big plans. The bot will soon be able to generate picks for the top DFS sites as well, allowing DFS players to benefit from the seamless automation.
Being able to automatically generate entries for the likes of PrizePicks, Sleeper, and Underdog will be a gamechanger, so stay tuned for updates from FantasyLabs.
