Week 4 NFL DFS Stacks and Picks
Trevor Lawrence + Bhayshul Tuten + Parker Washington + Tee Higgins
- Trevor Lawrence ($5,900 DraftKings, $7,900 FanDuel)
- Bhayshul Tuten ($5,600 DraftKings, $6,800 FanDuel)
- Parker Washington ($6,500 DraftKings, $7,100 FanDuel)
- Tee Higgins ($6,100 DraftKings, $6,900 FanDuel)
By far the most enticing game environment on this 12-game main slate is an AFC showdown between the Cincinnati Bengals and Jacksonville Jaguars. This is the only game with a total above 50 points. The Bengals are 2.5-point home favorites and have an implied total of 27 points. Expect a shootout at Paycor Stadium.
Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence remains under $6,000 on DraftKings and has the slate’s highest projected Plus/Minus. The Jaguars have scored over 34 points twice through the first three weeks. Across those two games, Lawrence averaged 23.5 DraftKings points and threw seven touchdown passes. In the one game they struggled, the Jaguars scored 13 points against the Broncos’ elite defense.
The Bengals defense has improved from its 29th-place ranking in EPA per play last season, but the three offenses it has faced are the Buccaneers, Texans, and Steelers. Lawrence has the second-highest optimal lineup rate among quarterbacks in our NFL Sims. He is a phenomenal value option.
Running back Bhayshul Tuten has logged a 50% snap share in each game for the Jaguars this season. Meanwhile, backup running back Chris Rodriguez logged a 41% snap share in Week 1, which dropped to 22% last week. Tuten seems to be taking over this backfield, and he remains incredibly cheap at $5,600. Despite leading the team in rushing yards in each game and scoring in his last two contests, Tuten’s price tag hasn’t budged.
Surprisingly, Tuten is drawing less than 5% ownership across the industry. A few other running backs in his price range are drawing heavy ownership, making Tuten a fantastic contrarian play within one of the best offenses on the slate. He is a great addition to this Jaguars stack.
Parker Washington‘s 30% target share ranks fifth in the league among wide receivers, making him Lawrence’s clear top option. He has a 14.3 aDOT and a 43% end-zone target share, and he is averaging 16.4 DraftKings points per game. His salary is slowly rising, but it hasn’t risen enough. Washington will be the most popular play in this Jaguars stack, but deservedly so, given how well he is playing this year.
Washington has two touchdown receptions and is averaging 73.7 receiving yards per game. He has yet to top 100 receiving yards in a single game but has massive upside to do so this week. The Bengals have been a pass-funnel defense through the first three games, allowing 260 passing yards per game, the fifth-highest mark in the league. By comparison, they are allowing 95.7 rushing yards per game, one of the 10 lowest marks.
Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins is the best bring-back for this Jaguars stack. Higgins has 90+ receiving yards in back-to-back games, including one touchdown reception. His ceiling is a little lower than that of his teammate Ja’Marr Chase, but Higgins is also $2,000 cheaper on DraftKings, making him the priority play.
Higgins has big-play potential. He has a respectable 23% target share and leads the Bengals with a 15.0 aDOT and 47% air-yard share. Higgins is the home-run threat and the preferred Bengals pass catcher. His salary has remained the same over the past two weeks, and the Bengals now have a 27-point implied team total. He makes it possible to pay up at other positions while retaining plenty of upside at his mid-range price tag.
The Jaguars–Bengals matchup is the top game environment on this 12-game slate, and it isn’t particularly close.

Brock Purdy + Christian McCaffrey + George Kittle + Jaylen Waddle
- Brock Purdy ($6,700 DraftKings, $8,300 FanDuel)
- Christian McCaffrey ($7,700 DraftKings, $8,800 FanDuel)
- George Kittle ($5,100 DraftKings, $6,700 FanDuel)
- Jaylen Waddle ($6,200 DraftKings, $6,600 FanDuel)
One of the best ways to stack in NFL DFS is to target a highly concentrated offense. That is exactly what we have right now with the San Francisco 49ers. The 49ers are 3-0 despite dealing with a plethora of injuries and are 2.5-point home favorites against the Denver Broncos, with an implied team total of 25.25 points in Week 4.
49ers quarterback Brock Purdy currently has the second-shortest NFL MVP odds at DraftKings Sportsbook. The 49ers rank second in the league in scoring with 32.7 points per game, and Purdy is playing at an incredible level even with his receiving options dropping like flies due to injuries. They are already without De’Zhaun Stribling, Christian Kirk, Ricky Pearsall, and Demarcus Robinson, while Mike Evans is doubtful.
Despite the receiving injuries, Purdy’s production hasn’t slowed. Through the first three weeks, he has averaged 263 passing yards per game while throwing nine touchdowns and scoring one rushing touchdown. He ranks second behind Josh Allen in fantasy scoring among quarterbacks. Even in a very difficult matchup against the Broncos secondary, he is playing too well to ignore and remains reasonably priced.
Christian McCaffrey has scored three touchdowns in the last two weeks, and his salary on DraftKings has dropped $600 to $7,700. That salary decrease has made McCaffrey pop in our NFL Player Models. He leads the slate with a 29.8% optimal lineup rate and is drawing the highest projected ownership at over 35%.
After being eased into the season due to his injury history, McCaffrey played a season-high 82% of the offensive snaps last week. He played 55% of the snaps in the first two weeks. McCaffrey also had a 75% rushing rate and a 79% route rate last week. Mike Evans is trending toward not playing, which boosts McCaffrey’s expected production. He is -185 to score a touchdown on DraftKings Sportsbook.
Tight end George Kittle has scored three touchdowns in the last two weeks, with 80+ receiving yards in both games. During that stretch, he has a 24% target share and a 72% snap share. In competitive games like last week’s, Kittle is going to be a priority in the 49ers offense. This matchup against the Broncos is expected to be close, which is why playing a Purdy stack with McCaffrey and Kittle looks so promising.
The tight end position is stacked with high-priced, elite options. Kittle is right there in the mix with the second-highest optimal lineup rate among tight ends despite having the fourth-highest salary. Even if Mike Evans plays, Kittle is still a smash play. The Broncos have been below average at defending tight ends, and their star cornerback, Patrick Surtain II, will stay out wide, freeing Kittle from the Surtain blanket.
After a disappointing Week 1 with only three targets, Broncos wide receiver Jaylen Waddle has posted a 30% target share over the last two weeks. He had one boom game and one bust game during that stretch, but Waddle is the top option for Bo Nix. The Broncos traded away a lot of draft capital to acquire Waddle.
The 49ers defense allowed 280 passing yards and two touchdowns to Cardinals quarterback Jacoby Brissett last week in a shockingly close game. The Broncos offense has the second-worst running game in the league, averaging 81 yards per game, so they are forced to air it out more. To keep this game close on the road, the Nix–Waddle connection will have to be on point. Waddle is a great mid-range option.
Attack this 49ers–Broncos game with a concentrated Purdy, McCaffrey, and Kittle stack paired with a Waddle bring-back. This matchup has a respectable 48-point total, and the weather looks pristine in San Francisco.
