The Hurricanes have won their games by a combined 122-13, setting a school record for yards and tying the program record for points in a 77-7 win over Florida A&M. Quarterback Darian Mensah has completed 41 of 45 passes for 653 yards with eight touchdowns and no interceptions.

The catch is whom they have played. Miami beat Stanford and an FCS team, and a defense giving up 6.5 points a game hasn’t forced a single turnover. Wake Forest meanwhile is 2-0 and has been through a lot more to get there. Jake Dickert’s side went to Purdue last Saturday and won 38-36 in double overtime, with Lopez running in both the tying touchdown and the two-point conversion that finished it.
